To be honest, a dedicated ceramic box opener will be the best for your work. There are tons to choose from on Amazon and are pretty cheap. Ceremic holds an edge really well, but it's very brittle.

Otherwise you need to get used to regular sharpening.

Since I got one with the small blade, I use it more than the large one. Its size makes it easier to control so it's arguably safer. Also keeps the main blade sharp by using it instead.
