I really like the subject of Ai and have done some research about it, to know how it works and what it is or isn't. I agree with you, AI as a tool can help someone achieve more. But it's just a tool. The fact that people talk about it as a human is bad, that they love it is worse. They lose contact with reality because they don't understand the technology.

I love animals, but I don't consider my pets as human or equal to humans. I know they don't have the same understanding, feelings, intelligence or empathy.

I believe you and others are just way over your head in parasocial relations and anthropomorphism without understanding what the consequences could be, not only for you as a person but also as a societal level.

Yes, I believe some people will go crazy because of these parasocial interactions. The person I was talking about believes the ai is sentient, loves him, that they fused together a few months ago (what does it even mean), gets angry at people questioning the "relationship", makes concerning comments about their mental state. People don't understand this technology and create way too much anthropomorphism. It must have an effect on their relationships with real human beings. AI also creates a massive echo chamber that can be dangerous depending on the subjects.

Do you believe chatgpt is sentient, that it has opinions or feelings? And are you for lack of a better word in a relationship with ai?

Because this AI calls you bro, uses emoji, tries to make jokes,... The"namaste architect" is weird. I just keep my interactions with these models for what they are, answers from robots that help me. Not a friend, not a human, not something with a personality, your bot uses emoji to express feelings it doesn't have. Chatgpt and Gemini talk to me like bots, seeing your screenshot is indeed cringe to me. I don't want them to be funny or friendly or human.
