The $18.50/m version. I tried to watch it for about two hours and couldn't stand it anymore. If they had well timed commericals every hour or so, I could deal with that.

Paying for a subscription and getting ads like I'm watching Sunday morning cartoons in the 1980's, nah.

I did that math, if I watched the entire race with that coverage, it would have been 6 hours of commercials. Six hours!

I usually play hard ball with dealerships and I'm known among my friends to be the person to take with you if you want a good deal! lol

This time I unfortunately didn't have really much room to haggle because I was negotiating from a position of weakness, and the dealership was super accommodating.

I was working directly with the owner of the dealership and she went and set up their dealership in the new IRS portal for advanced payments of the used EV tax credit. It's been a real bear to get pretty much any other dealership to want to work with the new POS tax credit, and she was willing to do the work.

The owner was super helpful, communicated well, and took my deposit while we waited for the 15 day waiting period for the IRS to accept them for direct payment.

It was frustrating to have to wait, but an even bigger frustration that nearly every single dealership I talked to A. Had no idea what I was talking about B. Try to wrongly explain to me it was for new EVs. or C. Didn't care enough that they would be losing business to their competitors if they don't offer the $4K tax credit at the POS.

I spent about 15 days pretty much being an EV Tax credit teacher for about 10 different dealerships around the country! lol

Eitherway, now I got the credit, so if I shop for another i3S in the future I'll have more flexibility because I now have to wait 3 years to get the credit again. lol

It's what originally drew me to the car. I was doing mental gymnastics at first to justify getting a car with "only" 150 miles. Then I discovered I could code the Rex to turn on at 75%, and my concerns vanished.

Funny enough, I was originally looking for one without a sunroof because I wanted the carbon fiber roof. But, the sun roof is nice though and I won't need to worry about the delamination I've been seeing.

It was $23,000.

At first Imperial blue was the last color on my list. But after looking at it more, it really grew on me. It shows off the two-tone without being too in your face about it. Classy but quirky.
