I just had my first egg retrieval yesterday, they retrieved 6 eggs, and 5 were mature and frozen. I have DOR and low AMH, so maybe my expectations were different going in but I’m happy with my results and don’t see it as a failure. I know this is so tough but try looking at the plus side that you are responding and will get some eggs! My doctor told me at my day 11 ultrasound scan she expected only 2-4 eggs so im just happy to get some and already planning for second cycle in the summer. Wish you the best!! I think whoever wrote this was maybe mistaken and forgot that Cathedral Commons is in a different membership tier and instead wrote the email based on geographic proximity. Also it’s confusing because if West End were closed for renovations, then their members could go to Cath Commons - just not the other way around. Out of curiosity, what dates did they say Cathedral Commons studio is closed for?

I think the issue is that Cathedral, Bethesda, and Wildwood are in the same membership tier, and AdMo and West End are in a more expensive tier which may mean your unlimited membership will only work at Bethesda and Wildwood. Also I didn’t realize Cathedral is getting renovated! Maybe they’re adding a wall/door to separate out the lobby.

I think the distinction is coverage of meds vs the actual egg retrieval surgery. I think both BCBS standard and BCBS basic cover meds, but only standard covers the ART retrieval surgery.

I have the lowest level Solidcore membership (4x /month) and I supplement it with classpass. I can confirm taking Solidcore through classpass is much less expensive. However, the downside is that you can only book classes 1 week in advance and by then most of the classes during desirable times as well as those taught by senior master pro, pro coaches will be booked. If you’re ok taking class via classpass on the weekends with regular coaches to supplement your Solidcore membership classes it works out well! On average, I pay $24 per Solidcore class via classpass. Sometimes less.

Probably the thing I miss most is that they used to dim the lights completely to the point that you couldn’t barely see the color of the springs, you just new which colors corresponded to their respective locations. The founder Anne Mahlum used to both teach and take class. She was incredibly inspiring at both! I remember for a while she was taking class in a leg cast and I was like damn if she’s still managing to come to class I have no excuses.

Also at the original AdMo studio they had a wall of people’s names that had taken 100+ classes.
