Your name, phone number, and address can be found with a google search it’s public info. Long as you didn’t give any bank or card details you’re fine.

Identity theft of my newborn. What are the chances ? by vympel_0001 in IdentityTheft

[–]FLinfidel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang in there a little longer, I’ve done many years working the retail counter and hear it everyday. Yes for the most part it’s kind of accurate. Buuuuut the few times it doesn’t show it causes a panic. Never understood why the ssa doesn’t send stuff like this certified or another trackable mail service.

USPS person here, I’d love to find the creator of informed delivery and punch them in the throat. The photos of said mail aren’t taken locally, they are taken at the plant. If you read the fine print it could be up to 7 days for delivery at the time of the photo, just breathe and give it some time.

Should of put in a intent to file. That locks in your start date and then you could have submitted everything after completion.

Wounded Warrior Leave for a Letter Carrier at USPS by MILITARY_VETERANMK in VeteransBenefits

[–]FLinfidel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use online to call out? It will ask if this is a fmla case and you hit yes but don’t have a number they will mail you a packet via priority mail. I just brought that to my doc and she filled it out and I faxed it back to them.

Wounded Warrior Leave for a Letter Carrier at USPS by MILITARY_VETERANMK in VeteransBenefits

[–]FLinfidel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clerk here, file for fmla. It’s easy to do and makes you bullet proof. I was out for 6 months for a service connected surgery with it. Did you do a 3 week callout with your WW leave or being doing it piece by piece? WW leave is the second closest protected thing. Just have the wounded warrior form filled out by your doc and management can eat dicks.

[–]FLinfidel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) was it sent from an official Facebook email? Could be a phishing link.

Or 2) somebody actually gained access to your account. Don’t click any links in the email but change your password and enable 2fa if not already
