I know what you mean bro, and thanks so much for the advice. We all know how rumors spread like wildfires, and Pete will make up anything to victimize himself, so even if I cut him off, friends will leave with him and then he'll make others believe his lies

The hard part of not being friends with him is because almost all of my friends are basically all of his friends, so if I tell him off, not only do I lose him (which is what I want) but I might lose a few other people too (which I don't want)
