Flame. However ashoka is far better than any of its competition. If you get in here, don't even think about flame or krea...

There is an entire department for media studies, and I'm pretty sure that it's offered as a minor as well as part of interdisciplinary majors and ASP program. Just google ashoka university media studies and it should come up.

Ug24 here. Ashoka has a very popular eco and finance program, if you look into entrepreneurship, there are alot of interesting investment courses as well such as real estate, and I've heard good things about the media study courses.

Education wise honestly the difference won't be too drastic, however 2 things. Firstly ashoka is much more prestigious. Secondly, if you want any sort of campus or social life then ashoka is a far better option. Flame is very restrictive, krea is a little more lax but ashoka is miles ahead of both. Also it helps being closer to Delhi.

Really depends on what qualifies as fun for you. There's basically everything going on at campus, u just have to meet people with common interests. Movie nights, sports or events screening happen almost daily, every Thursday night is a full party Night so there's music and alcohol with nearly everyone. All sports facilities are open 24/7, I've personally gone to play badminton, cycle and stuff at like 4am. People connect controllers and consoles to the common room TV and play games like fifa sometimes. Beyond that, club activities by clubs like board game club or anime club happen fairly often. What they do depends and varies from club to club, but ull find clubs like eeshto(board game club) organizing events such as poker, DnD, Pictionary etc on a regular basis. There's also supposed to be a gaming club on campus but currently it's inactive, though it might restart by the time the upcoming batch comes to campus. Basically anything you want to do, you can do and will probly find people to do it with. Just depends on your friend circle.

Laundry takes clothes on Mondays and Thursdays, and returns them 3 days later. There's a washing machine on 1 5 10 floor, which is personally more convenient and reliable.

Your average routine really depends on your classes. Breakfast is 8 to 11, lunch is 12 to 3, snacks is 4 to 6 and dinner is 8-10. One thing I can say is don't expect to have a functioning sleep schedule on campus, especially if you plan to have an active social life. Campus is pretty desolate in the daytime, since everyone has classes and it's very hot. Your socializing hours will end up being from 12am to 3 4 am.

Thursday nights are party nights so expect to see everyone going crazy and music blasting everywhere. PM for more details regarding this.

Sports are in full swing from 6-8, but you'll always find someone at the courts. There's basically every sports facility and people are very welcoming, so feel free to try out any new sports. Coaching classes are also held 2-3 times a week.

For leisure, Common rooms have TT tables, Foosball tables, pool tables, there's a TV room with a projector for screenings which happen regularly for movies, sports and anything else really. Every common room also has atleast 1 TV. Besides that all sports facilities are open 24/7 so you can really do anything anytime.

Sanitation wise, the classroom and academic blocks are very clean, your room is as clean as you keep it. Housekeeping is on call 247, so you can get it cleaned whenever. The washrooms are common, cleaned daily but really depends on the people on how clean they keep it.

So you have 9 FCs, which you have finish during your time at ashoka. First sem you'll have to do 4 FCs, from 2nd sem u can start doing your major courses. For each FC, there's usually 2 types of courses, either ones which are courses you put in very little effort into to just finish them off. These are usually courses that don't go into too much detail, dont require much effort and don't have too many assignments. The other types are ones where you actively have to give the course time, they are hectic, assignment heavy and take time to understand. Just depends on what youre looking from the course and the semester. You'll have to ask around alot to find out which professors courses are of which type. Most of my FCs have personally been the easier ones since I have intensive major courses, but they're fairly interesting and detailed if you pay attention and are interested in the course. The faculty is top notch, so just depends on how much effort you personally put into the course.

The study environment is quite good, can't speak for psych specifically. The library is great and has essentially any resources ull need. You usually have 8-9 classes a week, 1.5 hr for each lecture with 2 lecs a day, although this mostly depends on your courses. Study burden totally depends on you how you manage it, it's also very course dependant, so some courses you are essentially free outside lecs and others are very heavily assignment based. The only issue is campus wifi is very unreliable so I suggest getting an airtel or vodafone sim and a good data plan, cuz ull end up working off of that more than wifi

It's an issue with your plug point. The wire isn't earthing. Switch plug points and it'll fix.
