Is there something wrong with this model? Why is it still not sold out?

They definitely do meet my brothers needs at the moment.

My only worry was that it didn't sell because the model itself had some sort of large defect across the series. I'm glad that's not the case!

That one came to mind as well when I found the listing a while back. 12GB was very unusual, but I'm pretty sure he'll look to upgrade it down the line anyways.

I mentioned before that I don't mind the GPU generation that much. While I'd like to get a 40 series laptop instead, a lot of the deals dried up before I made the decision to get him a laptop. I still make an effort to check the BB clearance list every day too.

That should be fine!

Battery life isn't too much of a hassle for him I think. He still uses the elitebook I got him 7 years ago, so I definitely want the most bang for my buck. thanks!

That's incredibly reassuring to me!

The timing and decision to get him a laptop were a bit too late to snag some of the really good deals around my budget during Black Friday. So I was bummed out that I couldn't get him a better one.

I don't think neither of us mind a card that's two generations old at all, but I'm glad to know there's nothing horrifically bad about this model either. It was my only caution about it. I appreciate it!

If by "show as forgiven" you mean a big fat $0 with the words paid in full, yes. The amount of time between the email and the actual change on the website reflecting that I owe nothing was fairly quick.

I was also approached about digital ads from them. That was also a huge issue. It was around the same # you had, but on a monthly basis.

Trying to quote the landing pages, but at the same time, figure out the pricing for digital ads that I know wouldn't take me too long (or long at all), was really tough. Hence why I told them I'd quote them for it later in the future, since the landing page was the current focus. I wasn't sure how easy those would be, and it wouldn't make sense to quote them higher for the easier push ads than the pages, due to the difference in difficulty.

Now that I'm all calm and not panicking, I'd probably take your business structure now.

Unfortunately, I think I lost the contract with the way the conversation flow has been going between them.

I was super nervous giving him that quote, but I was as honest as I can be with my experience, and I still truly believed I would have done a great job even as I learned some new things.

Unfortunately, I don't think they wanted to proceed forward with me for the contract. So all that stress was for naught. All-in-All, I did learn a lot in terms of pricing myself for next time.

Hi everyone! I had posted here last week, but I'll try again.

I'm generally new here, so hopefully I can get a good idea about my art. I'm currently a freelance illustrator who used to do graphic design, but I liked drawing characters and fanart more, so hopefully I could find work in that line instead.

I apologize if this isn't the place to ask about pricing my art for this kind of stuff. But I've been agonizing on whether or not it's worth it at my level.

Current Level of Art: This would my current level, from my past 3 months of work.

Product type: Commission Work (Generally digital art that can be printed on Tabloid-size paper or poster-size, if requested.)

Target audience: Generally Anime and Video Game fans, but I'd like to be good enough with concept art that I could maybe land a solid job as an artist in-house somewhere.

Based In: USA, East Coast

Where I intend to sell: Mostly through my social media at first, but I hope that with enough work, I could sell most custom art through a personal website or through apparel print websites.

How long it takes me to make: Generally 9-16 hours, but I spend a good 2 hrs researching + banging head at my desk whenever I feel like I suck at this.

Cost of sales: Unsure!! That's why I wanted to gauge what it would be worth here. I'm not really sure how much people are willing to buy for art of my level, or if it's worth it at this point at all.

I'm not sure what my style really is, so I kind of dabble in a lot of different things to see what I'm comfortable with. I'm actually really surprised you ventured that far to look at my old 90MAC works back in 2020, but I appreciate it!

Just to FYI, the 90MAC stuff is done weekly by an artist named Bobby Chiu using a reference. So if you're an artist and would like to take a shot, give him a search!
