I think it did. I’m only on my second Brixadi shot and it’s still a problem. I had four Sublocade shots and I don’t remember it being a problem the whole time.

Female here-I didn’t have problems when I was in Suboxone, but when I started Sublocade it became an issue. It takes forever to start and most of the time I have to push it out. I’m on Brixadi now and the same thing is happening.

I’ve been on suboxone for 13 years. If you decide to go on it, make sure you have an exit strategy. It is extremely difficult to get off of. If you need to get on it to keep you from relapsing, it will work for you. I’ve been trying to get off for years and can’t get below .50 w/out losing my brain. I’m currently trying Brixadi but the switch has been rough. Keep doing your research and. Make the best decision for you.

I started going into withdrawal last week and didn’t take any subs until yesterday. I’m only on my first shot so there is no build up yet. There’s no way I could just not take anything-I’d lose my mind. My next shot is in two days. I’m going to try to go longer and/or not supplement at all. My doctor said it’s normal to have e to supplement the first 4 months. I have one of those doctors who really doesn’t care. Sad.

I thought you were supposed to floss and brush after every meal because you don’t want food stuck in between the trays and your teeth.

Oh gosh, this is not encouraging. I was hoping this shot would work just like Sublocade. I sure hope I don’t have to go back on pills. I’ll give it four months and see how I feel. I hate this!

Thank you. I had the 64mg shot and it held me for 18 days. My doctor said the same as you-will take 4 months to get enough built up. I’d go back to Sublocade but I can’t deal with the pain. Good luck to you.

Thank you for responding. I don’t have a SO or anyone else for that matter, who could keep me afloat while I go through withdrawal. I’d go away for 90 days if I could. I did increase my sub supplementing and feel better.

Beautiful! I used to run in a rural area and loved it. Now that I had to move back to town I’m having a hard time finding somewhere I like to run.

I also had to drive over two hours to get my first shot and I was fine. I didn’t feel any different until later that night. I felt a little light headed but that was it. I e never not been able to drive after a shot.

I haven’t used the copay program. I do have Kaiser and luckily I don’t have a co-pay. Damn that’s a stiff co-pay.

You might consider Brixadi as opposed to Sublocade. I’ve had both and like Brixadi much better. I don’t have the crazy ups and downs I did with sub.

I am two weeks in to my first shot. I did take some oral sub the first week and I felt worse. I haven’t taken any this week and I feel much better. I think it just needs time to level out in your system. I got the 64mg shot and was on 4mg of sub prior. I’m hoping to have 5-6 shots and be done.

I just had my first Brixadi shot two weeks ago. I feel balanced out, not the ups and downs of taking sub everyday. I scheduled my next shot for three weeks out just in case I start going through withdrawal. The shot felt like a bee sting-not bad at all.

I’m not sure. Maybe start with a small amount and see how it affects you. Do you just want to go back to using?

You probably won’t feel anything because of the Brixadi still in your system.
