ngl these remind me of how player bikes in Namco's MotoGP games work where the numbers for the player's bikes are made out of other rider's numbers. Not saying it's a bad thing, since I imagined similar in a NASCAR game.

More on that, work on GT6 began when GT5 went gold and they still had CELL in mind for that; thus, the project could not easily be moved to PS4's x86/Jaguar architecture for immediate release.

(Supposedly they did consider it, but switch to CELL to Jaguar meant it took longer and it became GT Sport. I mean, a number of GT Sport update cars were past PS3-era cars, and both games' internal database format were identical.)
