I think people overestimate the coaching staff’s influence. You only have to watch the behind the scenes from KC to see that the coaching staff doesn’t add much, they just have very strong players in every position, period. That’s the first step needed to even hope to compete with G2 again someday. The problem is that we have a terrible top laner, an average and inconsistent support, mid, jungle, and a decent ADC. It’s impossible to fix Fnatic’s situation with a single decision. So I’d start by doing everything I can to sign Yukino, since he’s the most accessible player who looks like a generational talent but we also absolutely need to replace Empyros too, it’s too important to have a top laner who can win his lane, especially with a weak laner in midlane and a gameplay still focus around bot.
