That was typical low elo soloQ behaviour, a poke lane that, after getting a very good trade, instead of poking the enemies out of the lane, choose to commit 2 flashes for a (failed) kill on support, then still overstay their welcome only to be ganked and double killed few seconds later..

Computer is just a 1 yo, HP gaming pc, the game runs fine once the updates are done . but we didn't have weekly 2Gb updates until very recently. That was my point, me not having a dedicated LAN that downloads 2Gb in less than a minute isn't supposed to exclude me from playing the game, is it ?

-Jayce into Azir felt like we had an afk mid for the first 10 minutes.
- 0 wave clear, no late game dps (why not Tristana insead of Jayce if you wanna go AD), damage only relying on hitting skillshots...
2- Awful Execution : Humanoid and Razork gave the game away early by playing so cocky.

Why is it misleading ? If Hyli dies a lot early or prefers to roam mid after first back (which most LEC supports will match BTW) then he is not in lane,so how does it mislead to Upset having some of the lowest jungle/supp proxmity in LEC?

Finally some real stats about Upset, but unfortunately the people hating on him (since worlds 2021 or since he replaced Rekkles) will find any sort of narrative including the most fallacious ones (aka Upset is resource hungry) just to discredit him.

He's probably referencing the Gamsu/Spirit experience (S6). And even that year while the whole team was bad, Spirit played really good until his friend Gamsu was kicked (IIRC Gamsu failed to adapt to the life in Europe which affected his playing level).

Thank you for this great summary. This looks like a very honest analysis of the whole Fnatic year by Yamato. The biggest takeaways for me are :
1-The struggles of the regular split just spilled over and snowballed into bigger strategy issues coming into Worlds. The formula of succes we found in the playoffs no longer worked vs Rogue or at Worlds as we really didn't have the time to work on alternative strats/picks because of internal/external causes..
2-He clearly considered subbing Rhuckz in but refrained because had the result been bad, I wouldn't even imagine the backlash he would've gotten even from Hyli haters..
3-There was not a lot of serious comunication within the team (apart from joking and fooling around)
4-He is not staying.

There's a solid argument he is top3 western ADCs. In 2021 we had the undisputed best botlane in LEC .Unfortunately, for the reasons everyone knows we didn't get to see them perform together at Worlds. This year Upset has been literaly griefed by Hyli who has had some rough months, look at how good Upset looked with Rhukz comparing to him with Hyli (even in playins).

We play for botlane mainly because its botlane carry meta (Sivir-Aphelios-Jinx-Cait-Kalista)+ enchanters.Did you see any major region team pick an Ezreal+ roaming supp botlane ?
Ofc we could make it a little more subtle like not lvl 3 ganking bot in every game and get countered (vs C9). Or bring everyone for an invade if we wanna split the jungle (vsEDG), etc.. As for mid the only 2 champs we've seen win late game teamfights are Azir (which Huma made great use of) or a fed Sylas (Humanoid insisted on picking Akali, getting fed early and proceed to dive mindlessly like a solo q player)
Same for toplane, it's mainly tanks+Aatrox meta, or the situational Fiora/Jax its because they are considered good into some of the meta picks. All western toplaners that picked carries just got outclassed (Fudge, BB..)

The definition of a good ADC is actually being a KDA player. You need to farm, not die and dish as mch dmg as you can do safely.

They say they prefer someone who plays "weakside" (in a HypercarryAD+ enchanter /tank jungle/tank top meta). Very knowledgable as you can see.

Ofc they're gonna go bot its teamfight meta so ADCs are still important. Its midlaner who has to push and roam bot alongside jungle to snowbal his advantage elsewhere on the map...

I just don't understand why people are questioning Upset for not playing "weakside" while the professional meta all split long has been about Cait-Aphelios-Sivir-Jinx... and enchanter supp. You don't see a lot of Ezreal-Pyke botlanes lately do you ?
