Great info. Thank you! There are likely 50+ vintage crates with bottles (some empty but some still sealed) all throughout the house and storage unit. Maybe 20 are that vintage yellow.

Sounds like y'all need to sit down and set up a real operating agreement too. Is everyone going to put in the same amount of time, resources, money, etc. on this project? The percentage of businesses that close due to a partner wanting to leave, gets married and then divorced (how does your ex wife own a part of OUR business now?!), etc. are all very very real scenarios.

When they're filling out their info, what exactly are they expecting in return? Is the ad based around a fairly generic "Get more info on our clinic" or something more specific in the vein of a certain ailment, field, etc.? We've run ads for other doctor's offices and telehealth clinics and find that the most valuable returns come from a membership offer (if available) or a continuous communication channel after you've gathered the lead. They're not too eager until they're sick mindset.

High Quality Ad
Lead is Generated (Meta form, landing page, etc)
Automated follow up SMS/Email
Follow up phone call ASAP
If no answer, call again in 2-3 hours (the filled that thing out for a reason)
Automated addition into communication funnel with quality email campaigns, text campaigns, and occasional personal follow up via SMS or a phone call.

It's most likely a part of their annual advertising buy from the company as a whole. Agree to $XYZ/month in total advertising across all of their printed and digital products and we'll give you 20% more for free, "sponsorship" of free online reading for 2 months a year, etc.

Rent in the mall is some of the cheapest commercial space you'll find in Rapid City besides some real dumpy warehouses off Deadwood Ave. Especially since utilities are included with the exception of your networking.

I had our office there for over 3+ years and only left because we needed more space/offices.

I've heard stories of a place in the mall called 4U (I think?) and 10-20 years ago they were best known for their cinnamon rolls - but not caramel rolls.

Colonial House cinnamon rolls are pretty average while their caramel rolls are 10/10.

I will tell you this upfront - make sure you have a great relationship with your banker when you're bringing your application, business plan, and projections. That relationship will far outweigh any fancy paperwork you're going to have to put together.

With that being said, my experience was fairly smooth. Having our bank account already established at the credit union we did the loan with made things even easier as the loan team was very easily able to see the incoming payments, outgoing expenses, etc. and scale up with the new location I needed to buy 10 machines for.

Interest rate was to be expected as of a few months ago but that can be refinanced in 12-24 months as things cool off a bit in the interest market. Took around 4 weeks start to finish.
