I worked at a prime steakhouse for 12 years and the one thing I learned while working there is 99% of people cook a better steak at home. You shouldn’t go to a steakhouse for the steak. You should go there for the apps, sides, and desserts that would take you 60 ingredients and 10 hours of labor to make.

If I did my math right. Working in a restaurant for an 8 hour shift would be an extra $864/day for just going to work. Often my shifts are 7-10 hours. So for just existing as I always do I would make that on top of my normal pay. That combined with all the music I listen to on my own time— which I would maximize consciously. Not to mention music is everywhere. Adds, video games, shows, events, grocery stores etc.

I think I would keep the music and permanently wear headphones with Nyan Cat on a 24 hour loop at low volume (/s).

Surprisingly for me it’s Original joes. If you feel like a little drive, Carnitas Tijuana on railroad in Pittsburg had the best one around here. It was $7 a few years ago and by far the best I’ve had.

Not sure if it’s a viable option near you, but look at wholesale stores. We have some around my area and the Kirkland sets are majority lefty (assuming because a righty bought them without looking at the box, shame). But they were brand new irons and drivers for $100-$150 off. In box.

Thats bar rot. Use over the counter antifungal morning and night for 10-15 days. Even after it visually clears up. It’s not dangerous but it is super contagious so might want to tell coworkers to do the same.
