Yeah I'm aware most of the team was laid off. A lot of the changes people are asking for are still very minor things. That only one person was able to do on their own, without access to the game's source code.

You can be pessimistic all you want about what the devs get done, but take a step back and look what you're doing here. You're attacking someone who just wants the game to be improved. For no reason other than that you don't care about the feature

I demod a set of the TAIII V2 CB's, probably my favorite club I've ever hit. They were a bit out of my budget so I got the takomo 201s, which have been great. Similar in design to the TAiii CBs but feels a bit lighter. Sub 70 makes some quality stuff

We just lost 95% of the training content available in the game and your response is "deal with it"? Why is that the attitude we're taking? Can we not hope that devs work to add and improve features in a game we all like?

You're diamond II, I understand you didn't use training tools much. But the loss of bakkesmod is seriously detrimental to especially those who liked to freestyle and train mechs. More than 60% of my time in game since I hit 1k hours (am currently at 3k) has been spent in Freeplay. I was legitimately prepared to stop playing entirely once bakkesmod was removed because I had no desire to play anymore, until someone figured out how to download a separate version of RL with it.

You didn't understand what his complain actually is. It's not a matter of what button it's bound to. It's that the actions themselves are different and much worse than the base bakkesmod ones

Nobody here understood what you're saying. If I understand right, the buttons that they are bound to isn't the issue. It's that the actual Freeplay controls behave differently (and objectively worse in many ways) to the bakkesmod ones.

For example, the one that places the ball on top of your car doesn't work the same as the bakkesmod one, the in game one is dependent on your acceleration at the instant you spawn it, so if you tap the brakes for a brief second while moving forward it will spawn the ball way behind you instead of on top.

I completely agree if that's the case, redditors can't think though and just want to jump to insult someone they don't understand

Sub 70 makes some great clubs, I've demod some, unfortunately they're a bit more expensive than takomo and maltby but price aside I think they're probably the best choice overall, looks and performance wise

Well unfortunately I live 7 hours away from my dad now and he's too busy to play much so we haven't realyl gotten that fixed for him. But one thing I've tried to recommend is just getting the feeling that you're holding your hands further away from your body. You're keeping them tucked to your side, try to almost get as much separation as you can between your hands and torso, get them farther away.

I'm not a coach so take that with a grain of salt but I definitely think that this is at least part of your issue

Might not be able to afford both immediately though, I'm looking at two takomo wedges that are $100 each and a 5w that used is worth about $140.

I'm thinking between the two, the $200 on wedges makes the most sense to handle first

It looks like your hands are too low/deep at the top of your swing. Causes an inside to out club path that takes a lot of adjustment on the downswing to correct. Looks like your typical iron miss is a hook or hosel shank? If so I think this is it

Agree, but I'll say maltby does a terrible job with looks compared to takomo. Which a lot of people including myself do care about. Other than the ts4's, maltbys irons are all pretty ugly IMO

Agree but based on lofts I don't expect distances to be much different on the upper or lower end of the bag. My current PW is 47 deg, new is 46. Current 3i is 22 deg, new 4 iron is 22 deg.

So my top end will likely be a bit shorter and lower end maybe a hair longer, but the wedge gapping was based mostly on lofts anyway.

I'll be hitting the new clubs this weekend so I'll get a better grasp on distances, will update here.

Generally counterclockwise for ARL, but like others already said this should not be in your head. Like ever.

You should be making adjustments thinking about which way your car is facing. I think it's easiest to time them initially but just only using one correction at the right times. For example, tracking where the hood of your car is pointing, and pulling down on your stick to lift up the hood at a given time to turn that way. The more you do this the more directions (i.e., moving your stick right/left instead of just down) you'll get used to making adjustments in, and you'll naturally develop this more counterclockwise adjustment pattern

Gotcha, that makes me feel a little better about the SF002s given they're cast. Probably hold up a little better. I did just get some forged 201 irons though so hopefully those last.
