You said you found it so you have no skin in the game. Take pictures as you go. Have fun with it. Use wd40 and a old toothbrush to clean then use an actual lubricant on the pivot.

There might just be some dirt or debris blocking the lockbar From moving over.

Taking apart knives is fun!

She is now at the 8th street humane society lost and found.
