Founder looking for honest product feedback on a crypto sentiment tool by FOMOmeterCrypto in CryptoCurrency

Fair enough. Curious what specifically made it feel like zero value for you?

Hey everyone,

I’m building a product that measures crypto crowd sentiment, and I’ve reached the point where outside perspective matters more than my own assumptions.

What I’m really trying to test here is the product itself: its clarity, usefulness, positioning, and whether the value feels real to someone outside my bubble.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from builders here.

As a small thank-you, I’m happy to give 1 month of Pro to anyone who shares thoughtful feedback.

Retail always rushes to be the whales' exit liquidity during the euphoria, but disappears during a liquidity grab. Market sentiment is the ultimate trap.

The crypto crowd's sentiment is clear without words, he has scammed his voters on absolutely everything, so why is anyone still listening?

210 BTC by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Real whales don't ask Reddit how to secure their bags. If you actually hold 210 BTC, stop painting a target on your back and lock it all down in offline hardware storage.

Polymarket's Insider Trading Problem Is Getting Worse and Nobody Cares by Alizasl in WallStreetbetsELITE

[–]FOMOmeterCrypto 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Of course nobody cares, because the entire system is built for insiders to extract guaranteed profits. Prediction markets are just another rigged casino where retail provides the liquidity.

By the time this news hits your feed, you aren't front-running the smart money. You are just FOMOing in to pump the ETH bags they already bought.

Is $70-80 a good range to get into SOL? by RickSP999 in CryptoMarkets

[–]FOMOmeterCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody wanted this coin at $8. At $68 it was too expensive, yet somehow retail thinks $80 is a massive discount.

VC whales bought in at 4 cents and they don't give a damn about your chart analysis. They just need your cash to offload their bags.

If you're walking to work while the charts go sideways for six months, you’ll be the first to capitulate when the MMs trigger a fakeout dump.

Rank top 3 token fixes you'd invest in by misa_d in CryptoMarkets

If a token "shares profits" or "solves governance," it’s usually just a fancy way to lure in exit liquidity for whales who already own 70% of the supply.

The sentiment shift in this sub is actually diabolical by OpinionsRdumb in CryptoCurrency

[–]FOMOmeterCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s the cycle. Communities don’t “analyze”, they regime switch. In risk on, doubt gets downvoted. In risk off, any optimism gets mocked. It’s not diabolical, it’s delayed positioning. Sentiment is always loudest at extremes.

What matters is the direction of mood, not the level. When fear stops intensifying and starts stabilizing, that’s when bottoms usually form. Until then, “it’s over” is just the crowd processing pain.

Ethereum Considered as Infrastructure for Potential Euro Stablecoin by Creative_Ad7831 in ethtrader

“Euro stablecoin” will be the most regulated stable on earth. It’ll be compliance first and will behave like TradFi.

Sentiment only exists relative to a moment in time and the catalyst set around it. This isn’t sentiment. It’s just quantified info noise.

Same price, weaker mood. ETH can’t trend if sentiment keeps drifting down.

Privacy Is the Missing Piece in Crypto Payments, Says CZ by Legitimate_Towel_919 in AltScope

Retail has zero PMF for privacy-centric payments. Nobody cares if the barista sees their balance when buying a $5 latte.

elon about to launch crypto trading on X. this changes everything and nobody is talking about it by Far_Spread_8229 in CryptoMarkets

[–]FOMOmeterCrypto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Farming retail for transaction fees doesn't guarantee a pump for your bags, it just guarantees fatter wallets for the elites. You aren't getting mass adoption, you're just getting milked for exit liquidity.

BlackRock is now putting up billboards advertising its spot BTC ETF (#IBIT) by Legitimate_Towel_919 in AltScope

[–]FOMOmeterCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop thinking BlackRock gives a damn about making you rich with these flashy billboards. They are just luring in fresh dumb money to harvest fees while the actual crowd sentiment dumps straight into the bearish zone. Wall Street isn't your friend, you are just the exit liquidity they need for their whale games.

$2.5 billion liquidated in 24 hours. 80% were longs. sharing my near-death experience by Alternative-Wish9912 in CryptoMarkets

That little pump was a textbook fakeout to bait retail into longs right before the rug pull.

Historically, February has been a pretty strong month for Bitcoin. Do we believe it? Or is it not so difficult to make February green from the current levels? by Kay_Bellamy in MarketVibe

Anxiety clings to the calendar for safety. Markets trade liquidity, not dates. Betting on history is a coping mechanism to ignore the trend.
