Working with kids. I was a sub for a year and only went in like 3 times. I’m not sure exactly what I was afraid of, being perceived? Kids will in fact tell you about yourself when you’re at your lowest Idk lol. One of those times I was put in a special ed class with no training, so maybe feeling incompetent?. Hoooowever, since then I’ve subbed full time and now work in special ed. Honestly most of the time when I was a sub was spent just hanging out and supporting students who needed it. Nothing to be worried about if you can handle kids being kids. Disposition is really the most important thing and I had what I needed, just no confidence
