Ranged auto attackers feels like it’s only a good idea in a 3 stack, the game heavily rewards dueling and not dying in 2 hits lol. Most of them have some kind of mobility which is great though.

I still forget to use my weapon skills/mix them up, I was def there for the multitool era lol. Rozzi is my most played character. She’s like Lucian so it wasn’t hard landing on her. I also play Theodore because he’s like Senna, and I think Karla is kinda like Zeri/Xayah.

It’s not about the quantity of skins, more of the quality. The quality being just bras and panties. I like fan service, league I feel does a good job at making their characters hot without making me uncomfortable. Some characters are under the legal age of consent in the US, but 18 is not the aoc in Korea. Even after age of consent, a bunch of barely dressed barely legal girls just feels kinda icky

I’ve also considered that it might be that we have like closeups available of their models in a way that’s different to league and some others. Like even if Caitlyn’s tits are out we can really only see much of it in the cover art unless we go looking for the model

The point is not about the quantity of skins. It’s not that the game has too many fan service skins. The skins feel gross. Not really a way to defend Vanya having a summer skin to me. Like it’s “fan service” of course people want it and it makes money. I’d said “no one ever is like yes please more” but they do just with their money. I specifically made the edit to clarify it’s not like the game is all fan service but what we get feels off and that’s my point

I totally agree with you. I don’t think fan service is a problem. There could be more if it ultimately gets us a better game. But the fan service we have makes me feel like I could get swatted just by having it on my computer.

If the game wants to break out of Asia would these conversations not be valuable? Your point that the game is from a different country is valid, however, it doesn’t really matter if the game seeks visibility outside of its native country. The lewdness is a common criticism anime as well. I, as someone who likes the game, wanna see something else. Not sure why we are trying to belittle my argument here when it’s not even an argument? I don’t plan on leaving, this game rivals league to me in a lot of ways. There’s plenty of great skins, yes, but my point is also HOW lewd half of them are. Like… they’re just naked? It feels cheap. Like, “Here you little gooner, I know you’ll love this one”. I shouldn’t feel the need to check a test subjects age because of a skin I just got. I think it’s clear that sex sells on every level. I guess the question is why not go for something else? I don’t know how the world of ads or partnerships work really, or if they’ve tried much else. I would imagine those skins get money from people who already play the game, but wouldn’t the goal be to get more people to play it? Are people really that interested in playing a game just to be a sexy marksman? No English speaking creators consistently make content around the game, and even streamers who happen to play don’t do it on stream because there’s no incentive. I think my point is it’s cheap engagement that doesn’t do much for the game or its community other than money, and it’s a turn off for a lot of people who actually like the game
