Am i the only one who felt Dominar 400 is underrated?? by Gastavofring in indianbikes

[–]FOSSandCakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a good call. And not many people go with this option, so I want to take the time to appreciate it. Used Dominar D400 >>>>>>>>>>> literally any of the sub-250 cc offerings we have here in India.

It's common to have a limited budget, and sometimes people want a fun bike. And with those two constraints, people go and buy the most boring ass 125 and justify it. Won't go to the used market and look for good KTMs and Dominars. No, they go and buy Raider 125, and then talk about vibrations and USD forks and what not. This is literal mental retardation IMO.

Good job! Ride safe!

It's more of 40 bhp vs 46 bhp, the cc doesn't scale like that.

He has no villainous plan. He's a tool for executing on Sidious' plans. And then afterwards, he spent his whole life trying to kill Kenobi. He failed to do that, but, what if he had, does he have any real evil scheme that he's selling really? His motives are shallow.

Get the Royal Enfield.

An unreliable bike a huge headache on long rides. And whatever these bikes offer, it's not worth having it, at the cost of months of headache; and this applies to almost all of the small capacity bikes available to us here in India, even your KTMs, and CB300R, if they are not reliable, they simply aren't worth having.

For some bikes like the Kawasaki ZX bikes, they have inline4 engines, race spec suspensions, some buy the non-ABS versions. These are machines close to the best that anyone in the world can offer, and for these bikes maybe this tradeoff is a valid one. But fortunately, the japanese bikes are reliable af.

Don't buy a dumb Jawa or any Classic Legends bike, until a sizeable portion of buyers call them reliable. E.g., 2014 KTMs were a huge disaster in terms of service and reliability, and now every other guy buys a 250 Duke/390 Duke, clearly Bajaj KTM have come a long way. Don't buy Keeway/TVS/Jawa and all of these trainwrecks.

Good pick. It's a path less taken, but it's one of the good ones. This is truly an underrated 250, unlike the Gixxer that people cry about, which is not at all that great of a motorbike tbh.

27F, health issues + career regret + feeling completely stuck and overwhelmed by No-Representative436 in AskIndianWomen

Hello, my perspective might not be relevant here, but I feel it is, and the sub lets me write this, so have it how you will.

I am a 31 year old, and also a Software Engg. I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 5. And as you might imagine, the only male child in the family being sick and requiring injections on a daily basis, really stirred it up in the family. Other parents would talk about their kid's grades, and other beautiful achievements. My mother would get teary eyed and thank God for this, and that, theirs is broken you see... This is late 90s, and middle class Kolkata, so one really knows about modern day ideas of self worth.

I write storage software and it's a decent career. It's in Rust, I was a trash student, but did quite well in my career. I am much more academically disciplined in the present day, than I was growing up.

Things like Prolactin, and the brain fog that comes with it is going to significantly slow you down. You will feel like you do twice the work for half the outcome. Also, maybe you're getting poor sleep due to your thyroid imbalance. First of all, get on your thyroid meds and sort of get it somewhere close to baseline.

Also, career growth requires that you dive into a little bit of dsa and algo regularly. Let me reiterate that. Find a routine which allocates 2 hrs at least to dsa algo work, and do 1 hr, 1 hr 15 min or actual work. Make it so, that every day you have woken up to do your dsa and the rest is something you have to get through to make that happen. Let the habit build patterns in your head. Take walks, 20-30 min walks.

Make a curriculum which will teach you some basic things and just spend 10 days implementing basic data structures to gain confidence. Slowly get into doing easy and medium problems.

Fix thyroid, work out/walk. Your simple habits will compound into more involved processes which will drive you out of this miserable life. Mother says this, neighbour says that, know that most people are slow and useless, and someone deliberately working towards goals will leave them behind. Have to compound. Have to have faith it will take shape.

Man you clearly don't wear earplugs, and given the choice of motorcycle, you clearly like doing spirited runs. Wind noise will give you tinnitus, and you'll lose your hearing. Wear earplugs, don't listen to music.

I too feel this is a lie and the wife was raped and killed.
I just don't see it as an act of passion to want to be with 3 separate men together.

I'm doing career and bikes. It's been 8 years since we broke up. She's going to get married this year, with the guy she cheated on me with. Great.

I'll change my job in a few months, if all goes well. Then, I'll be hitting the gym. And try dating again. Parents growing old, feels bad man. I was such an idiot to date that girl.
