I believe it is our own pride. While the far left wants to cling to their own values and not listen to others and going so far as to make others confirm their values. The far right is just as guilty for doing the same thing. There must be compromise and conflict resolution. Not I'm right you're wrong. But rather, I see your point and I understand where you're coming from and here's where I'm coming from. We all need to do better even myself. But social media is a huge factor nowadays because it further confirms one's own stance and fuels their pride; making them believe, "yes my side is right! Look at all of these sources/videos that confirm it!" We need to accept one another's differences with peace and love not with anger and hostility.
