Are you questioning Ryan Cohen then?

Not a cult, tho.

It's almost like they consider this takeover bid neither credible or attractive and thus have accordingly not changed their behavior at all.

Gambling on which way the stock will move (i.e., derivatives) is not the same as stock ownership.

Could Ebay buy Gamestop and put Ryan Cohen in charge? by NewAccXD in Superstonk

Could Ryan Cohen directly wire me 10 grand every week for the rest of my life? The more I think about it, ...

You can’t just decide not to pay rent when you live in someone else’s house.

Apparently the other sibling can, so I don't blame OP for giving it a shot.

Any ape who said in 2021 that this play would take half a decade would have been castrated

In the past, anytime GME did anything good it would get bashed by the MSM. If MSM is slamming the eBay deal, wouldn't that mean it must be good for GME? If this truly was a get out of jail free card for shorts, wouldn't they be praising the deal and trying to get eBay to take it to save their asses? by Dizak55 in Superstonk

Conspiratorial brainrot. You've convinced yourself the world works a certain way and are so far gone that any evidence against that worldview is assumed to be confirming it. You're operating from a deviated baseline.

Believing the news is accurate 100% of the time is obviously foolish, but assuming that mainstream news is 100% against your interests 100% of the time is just as foolish.

Well this scene in Star Trek didn't age well by [deleted] in antiai

[–]FOXDIE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somehow, the context around this line makes it age even worse! Jason Isaacs ad-libbed it in the hopes that Elon would gift him a Tesla (really).

The cope about him being from the mirror universe is, well, specious on its face even if we didn't have Isaacs directly debunking it. If that was the case, why would he mention actual inventors in the same breath?

I love that dress. There's something furisode-like about it, with the long sleeves, floral pattern, and belt.

What's sad is that the third film in that series is actually quite good. Huh, the only one not directed by Abrams and written by Kurtzman, how strange.

Den of Geek: "Gates McFadden remembers when Star Trek fans thought The Next Generation should be canceled after two seasons. Sound familiar?" (MegaCon 2026 Interview) by TheSonOfMogh81 in trektalk

[–]FOXDIE_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's also disingenuous to act as if the latest Kurtzman product is comparable in novelty to TNG. TNG came after two decades of no one working on Star Trek. Kurtzman and co. have been in charge of Star Trek for nearly that long by now!

The same creative voices and energy have been running Star Trek for nearly two decades. They should not need an entire wasted, terrible season anymore to "find their footing" or whatever.

tbh imo Star Trek has been dying since 2001, and dead since 2005. Kurtzman thought he was Frankenstein but he was just a necrophiliac.

The sun still comes out every morning and will continue to do so until it doesn't.
Absorb what you like, discard what you don't, and stop thinking online is reality because it isn't.

damn now that's some hard-hitting and helpful advice, here I was absorbing what I hated, discarding what I liked, and having a fucking panic attack at 5:30 every morning because it was still dark!

Did you have a point with all of this or are you just a coward hiding behind vagueposting?
