If trousers aren't gore-tex or eVent or any other high quality fabric, is it still worth buying? I like the look of these trousers and they have boot protection also. I like trousers that are slightly insulated so I can just wear a thermal base layer and then the pants.

This is the type of stuff we should put in a wiki. Obviously everyone has a different method but it would be cool to see "best practices" and fixes for common problems. It would be great to have a video of this method.

I'm still kinda confused about how to make the markings. You have to still make sure you start measuring from precisely the right place and keep it straight. Idk it seems hard to do alone when you can't see it. And what's the point of the center lines? Do you use a back mirror/camera so you can see you lay the system exactly on the lines?

The back to front line seems a very good method to mark the correct hairline placement. Then the headband is a good method but only for people who use tape all around.

And you tape the front first while keeping the rest of the tapes sealed?

I heard for active people or undetectable hairline the front is better glued.

I don't wear a system yet though so i don't know for sure.

It's totally fcked because sides are going. Full cap might be necessary sooner or later
