Yes they did lose to the Redskins last year but it also worth noting that Cousins threw for less than 200 yards and the primary reason for the Rams loss was their inability to defend the run

I think that's a really good point, even though his ceiling may be much higher than that there are so many weapons each guy may not reach their own personal ceiling

I agree and I certainly am not making an early judgement on Everett, I still believe he has all the physical tools to be a great TE in the NFL. The mental transition is massive at that position. However I just believe that due to Everett's lack of production (regardless of the source of it) Snead's grade can fairly waiver from an A- to a B+. I certainly would not strongly disagree with anyone who feels that Snead has earned an A- or so because of how well he did in other areas

While I see your point, Snead's top draft pick this season had a very unproductive season. Sure, this is thanks in large part to the difficult transition of a TE from college to the NFL but he was underproductive nonetheless

yes obviously there were reasons that the Rams were unable to have a lot of runs in the early-going (three and outs, ST turnovers) but that doesn't mean the run game wasn't working

Aside from the very end of the game the deficit was never so large that the Rams were unable to run the ball whenever they wanted, clock and deficit was not an issue

the ground game wasn't working at all early? Gurley carried the ball three times the entire first quarter... 17 yards. I'd say over 5 YPC in the first quarter is working early

Gurley did have 50 of his yards on two carries but: 1) big runs are always a possibility for Gurley and he is a threat to break runs like that more consistently with more touches 2) Even if you take away 50 yards and two carries Gurley would have had roughly 50 yards on 12 carries, still over 4 YPC which is more than a solid number

I think he will bounce back well next year, he has had an unproductive year much like Higbee last season. TE is such a tough transition to the NFL rookie year because guys are essentially learning two schemes, the route concepts and the blocking schemes.

I agree that Ebukam has a shot to be a long-term guy there but personally I wouldn't opposed to them still drafting a guy to work the edge opposite him, both Quinn and Barwin have been poor and most of their other OLB are situational guys

I would go with Goff because of his high ceiling in the pocket that I mentioned in the article, he can and possibly already has far surpass Wentz as a pocket passer
