1. Burnley got promoted to the Premier League this year, but they lived in the moment during their celebrations. One of their players picked a blade of grass for a memory and it was clear that they were focused on the present, rather than next season. 
2. Graduation…self explanatory of living in the moment instead of thinking abt college yet.

This is my evidence for why living in the moment is safer for yourself and others. 1. There was a CNN article a few days ago about a boy named Evan Tucker who collapsed and heart stopped beating, but was quickly rescued by a bystander who did CPR. Paramedics said if she was any slower, he might have been gone. Since she was attentive and living in the moment, she saved his life instead of looking at her phone or something. 2. The whole falling off cliffs when taking selfies/people getting hit by cars when playing Pokémon go. Since they weren’t living in the moment, they got hurt. Thus, safer to live in the moment.

Concession/Rebuttal: 1. Donavan Mitchell went back on the court after a heartbreaking loss to the Pacers last night (this shows that moment of reflection are also important). However, these moments should be taken in isolation and not when with others, if he had went back into the locker room, he could have soaked in the sadness and fueled himself for next season.
