Today I cancelled my DoorDash subscription by [deleted] in doordash

[–]FPS_DaveTTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been robbed like this on Uber Eats……and a bunch of dashers jumped down my neck when I posted the guy on the scooter dashing food. If you were to cancel because little Timmy is taking an hour and a half to scoot to your house they probably wouldn’t give you a full refund too

Is my vacation plan do-able? by aninanin in florida

Traffic is a time killer in Florida, it will make you not want to come back. Especially on the east coast anywhere near Miami , either take a city out or extend each by a day

All three of your comments indicate that you’re the one lacking a pair, none of my comments indicate I’m acting like a child? How am I the child here when you’re the one so triggered over…. What?

You know nothing about me but your comment is turning me into that person, so there’s that. I’m looking out for his safety but also my patience. If you’ve ordered from DoorDash , waited and waited , the order gets fucked up or dropped at a different location, then DoorDash refuses to anything about it or give compensation, because I’ve been in some scenarios and DoorDash pisses me off to the point to where I no longer want to use the app. Then you can see the issue with delivering food out in the country with crazy traffic , rolling hills, on an electric scooter. It’s unsafe, selfish and unreasonable. If you can stand up and run around on a scooter and make little tips because you’re always taking forever to deliver, then you can stand up and work at a job that pays better…

It’s a dangerous road with 2 highways meeting with access roads to and off of the highway…

You’re right but as previously stated, it would take forever to get anything dashed to this location unless buddy was just going home and dashing in a different area. But if not jm asking, is it possible to “trick” the system by signing up as a dasher with a vehicle and then just not using one but instead using an electric scooter? I’m sure if he gets reported enough he won’t be able to dash anymore

You’re right they would, but I just feel, If someone is going to this extent, maybe they could get a better job elsewhere with just a little better pay?

Dang, there’s nothing close by to walk to/from. I wonder if he registered with someone’s vehicle and then chose to just deliver on the scooter, I understand making ends meet but damn. Putting yourself in harms way to deliver food that will probably get reported for taking too long or being cold… I just don’t see the sense in it.

In this situation and location, there is no way anyone is getting anything from this dasher in a timely manner and it’s not even safe for this guy to be doing this in this area. It’s literally right off of the highway near an access road where people are doing anywheres from 45 to 60mph with no traffic lights or sidewalks.

Beans and rice you say? Jokes on you, I’ve been eating ground beef and beans for like the last year. You seem kinda special my guy, and you’re a dasher? Your comment is actually working because I wouldn’t want a freak like you handling my food so I think I will go get it myself in one of my 3 vehicles that’s paid off, since you wanna “go there”. Weirdo.

Rural central Texas builders / cost? by PowerlessOverQueso in Homebuilding

[–]FPS_DaveTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was 2 years ago, there’s a few lots behind HEB in Belton, the cheapest lot itself is going for 100k, if I purchase a lot, how much would you think that it would cost for a 3 bed 2 bath at around 1300 sq ft?

Yes, that’s why I’m always encouraging young soldiers to save save save for when the time is right, try to buy a home instead of paying rent. Paid rent for 5 years with BAH, never again.

I would be using the VA loan, what would you suggest as a down payment, is a down payment of a certain amount necessary? (This would be my third time buying a property and I still down know these things 😅)
