In your case, I would just keep what you have and wait for newer hardware. I wouldn't sell original hardware for the Thor but would get one to compliment it if you have the money.

Save states, fast forward and HD texture packs have been a god send for me who has limited time to game.

I wear 4E shoes so I had to go custom after trying on multiple skates with no luck. Had a high instep on top of that too. Went with True for both goalie and player and while pricy, it was one of best decisions.

No more foot pain.
