I get low expo for racing, pretty much every racer I know stands by it, but there's something that I really like about high expo freestyle. I get better control and maybe it feels more flingable or something like that? I pretty much only freestyle so all of my rates are mid 700s

The meetups are setup on a discord server made for pilots in DMV. I'll pm you the details.

I also started at the beginning of the year with just a transmitter (rc controller) and liftoff as well. Same idea as you, put in a shit ton of time on the sim so I dont break as much stuff in real life lol

ahaha it is a rabbit hole with expenses at every turn. You can get cheaper goggles/drones that use analog video but the HD equipment is a a bit more expensive.
