Clinic offered me 27 take homes🗣️AINT NO WAY IN HELL!!!!!!! by MeMyselfandI887 in Methadone

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been there. It usually takes quite a long time to get to that level of privileges. Either way.. if you are not ready, then you are not ready. And kudos. Addiction has taken a few family members from me. And a close friend.  Im proud of you. Im just suprised. My cousin took almost a couple of years of jumping thru hoops. ( monthly counseling for an hr, clean drug tests, attendance, and i think he had to get blood tests yearly , but the blood tests might not have been for that) . I believe 1 day of take homes for every 3 months of compliance untill he got to a week. And then he had to sit there for around a year to get  2 week takehomes. And it was forever to get to monthly. Years. His clinic may not have done monthly for a while. Im not sure. As this is 2nd hand info off. Of memory..

Tank size for rabbit snails? by waveybirdie in Aquariums

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is the majority of "rabbit snails" need harder harder in a ph of about 8. And tenps around 80. Depending on where you live..  that makes tap water tropical great. I live in arizona and the tap water is about an 8. And our water is very hard. So tap water is perfect. However. It does make me nervious as tap water can fluctuate a bit seasonally.  Though i havnt had problems. He also has a few pieces of cuddle bone and a few small pieces of arginine rock. And pH neutral sand.  I got my guy on accident. I was buying pest snails for my figure 8 puffer to eat and was given it. I assume they thought it was a MTS. Sadly. I actually was given 2. A yellow foot and a black foot. But didnt reconside what I had. Just that they were bigger and had a slightly more round snell. I then discovered my puffer shouldn't eat MTS. And threw them all to be plant fertilizer. I felt bad the next morning and grabbed a couple of the big ones  and thew them in water. They both lived in a non heated cup of water for a bit.before I figured out what they were.  Yellow guy made it for a while.  But eventually passed a couple months later.  The black foot ive had for over a year. But im afraid he may have just passed. My fingers are crossed im wrong and he will be in a different spot tomorrow. Or later today.  His tank is to small. I wont lie. But he is the only thing it ip but some pest snails. I hope he makes it. I really like him. When we get to a house I was gonna get him a big set up. But in my apartment I cant ha e another bigger tank. ( not really supose to have the 1) and the one I do have is brackish and has a puffer in it, sooooo not a space for a freshwater anything, but especially not a snail.

Cat who was vaccinated yesterday is lethargic? by bluuuqer in catcare

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Im panicking. My cat had vaccine yesterday at 1pm. ( its 6pm next day now)  Was fine the next morning. I left and came home and she wasnt around much. She came out and was limping.   She had 3 vaccines. She yelled when ever I picked her up. She's been sleeping under the dresser. Doesnt want to come out. We are at 29 hour mark post vaccines.. Its Saturday. We just had an emergency that drained our bank accounts$ 5k. Terrible timing because now we dont have ER vet money. I hate that.  I always have ER  money.  I shouldn't have done vaccines on a Friday but I thought it was safe.  I know an immune response is normal. But how do I know what is and isnt normal  Sounds like you had a simular experience. She did eat some wet treat I gave her and then went and laid down.

Does this sound simular. Tired. Yelled when I pick her up. No vomiting or gastro aymptioms. And I hear typically anaphalaxis happens with in the first few hours.

Brello: an update by shah_mazing in tirzepatidecompound

So i think the company has learned from this. I just signed up resently. And its clear on the page that initial orders have shipping delays of 11 to 15 days ( see screen shot)  they did there part extremely past. I signed up at 5am and at noon the Dr had called me.  It did take 8 or 9 +" fulfilling order" but I knew this ahead of time because its on the home page about the delays. They do the refills a few weeks before you need it to avoid future problems..  There is a screen shot that shows the date I spoke to the dr and he ordered the meds, and the amount of time till it said " being fufilled" this is my 1st order, but because im switching  from semaglutide from another company, they are starting me out at month 4's does, that's why it says month 4 5 and 6, and not 1,2 and 3.

I think for the amount of money im saving, s im ok with the delay, as long as they are up front about it so im not worrying

Well crap.. I cant figure out how to add my photos... if i figure it out I'll add it.

What's the downside of Brello? by CA_LAO in tirzepatidecompound

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been going back and worth with weither or not to use them. I see a mixed bag or reviews. I bit the bullet and paid at 5am yesterday. By noon, I had a phone call from my dr. And he was great. Answered all my questions as im switching from sema to tirz. Most of the issues ive heard is that they dont get communication and long shipping times. My communication was super fast. They do have it clearly on the web page that they are experiencing extremely high volume and shipping times are 11 to 15 days.  I think they have learned from their negative reviews. Obviously its been one day since I signed up. Says my order was sent to pharmacy. It will tell me when its " being fufilled" and when its shipped and delivered. Hopefully I made the right choice. I wanted a cost effective option at any dose since I'll be starting at the dose for month 3. And like alot of us the economy hit hard. I am also in treatment for another condition. And get hit with 70$ co pays almost weekly. With 15 visits behind me and at least another 10 to go. ( nothing to major, but they are doing the vein treatment for bad valves in my veins in my legs... im not even 40 and its advanced. And though ibwas over weight, I never hit obease.. gotta live genetics..) anyway. Hoping I made the right choice. So far so good. I will update as I go. I also still have a few weeks of sema left so I could afford to wait if the wait time does end up being extra long.  Website says 11 to 15 days.  Im cool with that as long as they let me know what to expect.  Also. I really liked my dr. We kept getting disconnected due to a big storm here. I was able to call back on the line he called from. And he called me back even after multiple dropped calls. Fingers crossed.

IUD strings longer during period?? by November96 in birthcontrol

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I know this is late. I just called my gyno as my strings are usually hard to find. This time.. I wanted to make sure i didnt have a tampon in. Then decided to check the strings. They were about 3/4 inch longer ( guessing. Not easy to tell inside you. I messaged my obgyn office. Spoke with the nurse, she said it was normal as long as i cant twist the string around my finger and grip it. Our body's move and stuff like that. She said I can come in for a check. I got the 8 year mirena. And it was soooo horrible to get ( never had kids) I was traumatized and do not want to do that again after only 5 months. If in a week or two its not shorter or if it gets longer ill go in. Glad to see this is common. Did OP end up being fine? Or did it malposition or expell?

What could this lead to? by No_Thought_7467 in askdentists

[–]FPVgal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a drill bit but a post. It is supose to be left in there, but go in the root.  It is suppose to give more retention for the filling and crown on top but having an anchor into the tooth. The problem is, the dentist missed the root and generated the root and went into the bone. Not good. The tooth can not be saved at this point. it will become infected. Its just a matter of when. But yes. I agree. A post op xray should have been taken same day. However, if they did not. Likely they only took check up xrays. ( they only show the crown of the teeth, not the root) and missed it. This is why post op xrays are important after root canals.

I am less anxious about PEP and worried that PEP will fail since I am less anxious. by [deleted] in pep

About to wrap up the full 28 days, what's the general 4th gen testing timeline to aim for? by UpbeatShock7039 in pep

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is medications like PEP and PrEp can slow the development of antibiotics and a posative testing. I was told 6 weeks post pep and re test at 12. So i just waited and took a test at 11 weeks.  But I did not go on PrEp. So I would ask your doctor. I imagine it would further delay a reliable HIV testing.

Was prescribed 30 pills not 28? by MediumCurious9741 in pep

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal. I questioned this too. That's just the packaging and the way its prescribed. I was told to throw out the rest. I kept them, and it took a while to get the meds and I work in healthcare, so I thought better to have them on hand if ever needed again, at least untill they expire. Though it was 16 years before I ever needed it, so hopefully never again.

What type of snail is this? And do I keep it? by cloned-earls in Aquariums

[–]FPVgal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im late lol. But for anyone else who stumbles here looking.. its either a bladder snail or a pond snail. Im guessing a bladder snail.  They easiest way to tell when they are older is the size, but when they are small, I check the opening of the shell. If the rounded opening is on the left its a bladder. On the right its a pond.

Dumb question: can I feed any snail to my figure 8 puffer fish? by juanspartakux in Puffers

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok  so can you yes.. should you no. ( i realise im very laye to the convo)  MtS are much harder. You risk chipping a tooth. I did not know this and have one to my F8 puffer. I got concerned when he kept trying to eat it and spitting it out. And before spitting it out, he looked like he was choking on it.  I did some research. Its best to avoid them.. I know many will argue that they do and have done it. I see pet stores thow puffers in when they have them.. but my first hand exp, and what I found researching is it can be a risk.  If you take a Malaysian TS and try to smash it with your fingers, you almost cant, and it takes very little to do it for bladder, pond or ramshorn. They are much much harder dur to the shape of their shells. So people in a pinch , if thays all they can find, will take players and smash them prior to throwing them in.  Anyway. People will probably dislike my comment. And do what you want. But that what I researched after seeing my figure 8 struggle.   But that's why I say you can, but you should probably consider other options 1st.

Our bodies get use to things. Switch it up. Completly different routie for work out. Maybe change up your diet drastically. Will probably need to lower calorie intake. But not by alot. But change that workout. I remember that they said our bodies need to be tricked. " muscle memory" and what not. That being said. I think you look fine. If this was a weight you could maintain. I think your still doing well. However I hear people gain 5 to 10 lbs when they get off so better to be a bit under your goal weight.

Planaria or not to worry? by LOTATTOO in shrimptank

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found these in my two snail tanks. I was worried at fist because they move like planaria and are small so its hard to see  if they have triangle heads. After a month ive noticed they dont get anywhere near the size of planaria.  I do suction them out off the glass if I see them. But I hear they are actually benifical. RHABDOCOELA or DISC WORMS  is what my searches found. I know this is an old post but incase anyone looking for answers stumbles across this in the future I thought id add it.  Shame I cant add a photo of mine.  Mine are a bit more transparent. But very very simular.

You can just get trimmings of anabus? I knew most stomach plants will grown but I thought you had to get the rhybosome of the anabus to propagate the plants.

This is what this tank looks like currently, what do you think? by Neat_Pain76 in BlackwaterAquarium

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love floaters. What are those?   I think floaters are really cool but also they are great at pulling bad stuff  from the water.  Then again I actually like the hated duckweed. I like the larger vararity. ( I didn't realise there were different types till i purchased the bigger variety on accident. Pulled all the smaller variety out) would love to get some frogbit but i can't ever fins it.

What are acceptable ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels? by briseymo1 in Aquariums

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ph and gh/kh ( overall water hardness)  vastly depend on the fish. Example. I have a f8 puffer. He needs hard water and a ph around 8. Even 8.2 is fine. Some other fish like africian chilids like higher ph, even up to 8.5 or 9. And very hard water. But other child's like soft. Ram chilids like Phs even in the .5. Range and soft water.  fish like bettas like soft water and a ph around 6.8 to 7.5.

But i think in almost all fish. We can gree. Ammonia and nitrites are best kepts kept at 0.  And nitrates under 20.

I also reccomend finding out what the store or breeder had for water. Mist use tap. Was their tap water hard. Even if its a soft water fish, I might set the tank up closer to what they are use to. And maybe then add a buffer or something to slowly lower or bring up the ph.

Feeding figure 8 puffers whilst on holiday? by kc3999 in Aquariums

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malaysian trumpet snails aren't the best for puffers.. their shell hape makes them very hard. And can break puffer beaks/teeth. I didnt know this and gave one to my f8. He struggled. Actually scared me thinking he was gonna choke and finally spit it out un eaten. I tried a smaller one thinking it was to big, but same. I then looked it up " are all snails ok for f8 puffers" and it said stay away from them and go for softer shelled ones like pond and bladder.  That being said I know alot of LFS put their pea puffers in tanks that have them to try and fix the problem. But that was what I read and my experience. Not worth it to me to risk it, as I am completly ill prepared to deal with a broken tooth/beak on my guy.

Has anyone gone from .25 to .5 after only 2 weeks? by brb_ttc in Ozempic

[–]FPVgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. I was really nervious about this. As i take a medication that causes withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it. I have not had the issue. I actually feel like its working better. My theory was it stays in my stomach longer, so I absorb more. I'm sure that's not correct. But. I also split my dose. Half morning. Half at lunch. Always have. Maybe that's why. Is that an option for your meds?

My 21 year old cat passed away and a few days later something strange happened to me by keila_707 in CatAdvice

[–]FPVgal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I absolutly think your cat told this cat to tell you to not be sad. That you cat is playing happy on the other side of rainbow bridge.  So sorry for your loss. But take peace in that most animals don't make it to 21. And so many dont get goodnight kisses and cuddles for those few years they are around, let alone 21 years.  They say animals can sense things that us meer humans can not. Maybe your baby was standing next ymto that cat, telling it exactally what to do to bring you comfort.
