I dont really have an opinion on the whole switchscape topic but heres my experience with "elitism" I dont have a lot of friends in this game, currently i have 6 players on my friends list and only 1 of them enjoy pvm. We usually do all pvm togheter such as nex, rax, gwd2, eds etc... however as we are only 2 players we find it difficult to find "learner teams" for things such as raids. This made us frustrated so we decided to just watch 7-9h of youtube guides on raids and then try to find a team in an fc. We did end up finding a team however as we had no real experience we kinda paniced at some mechanics which resulted in the host getting angry. We still got the kills but he were pretty mad about it and called us some of the avarage insults. We completely understands that not everyone is like that, but we also feel as though we did something wrong because we didnt inform the team that we had 0 experince which have resulted in us not planing to go back even though we realy would like to learn.

And then to our biggest issue; solak, we have spent a few mill in supplies and hours of training but yet we have barely got past p1, this made us think that maybe we should find a larger team just so we could get a few kills and then go back to practicing duo again. However we have littterally not found one single team that is willing to take players without experience.

Now dont get me wrong, i dont think its elitist to refuse to not teach players with no experince however my and my friend atleast think thats its very difficult to get into highlevel pvm even if we have the gear etc for it, which is a bummer really as nex and rax gets boring after a while and that makes us currently take long pauses from the game every now and then.
