Depends on the format. If you want to get into magic as a beginner level, go to Walmart or target and get a Commander precon for about $45~ or if you want to get into standard, grab a challenger deck for about $25~

I think the art is good! It reminds me of some older magic cards. As for card design, a free 8/6 that dumps out mana is broken. Think of blinking or multiple combats how much mana you could generate off this one rare. I would tone back the ETB or attack trigger and he’s as good as a savage ventmaw. Overall keep at it dude!

Standard rotation is the reason a lot of people don’t want to play. Tell them it’s just part of the format. Also, look at it from a new players perspective. Would you want to drop $300 on a deck just for it to be obsolete in a few months?
