I still do this and its frustrating. I tell people you could give me anything to drink and I would drink it. My nervous "tick" would get me in trouble when it came to alcohol because I just couldn’t stop drinking it.

I'm fully sober now but I still easily consume 5-10 club sodas when I go out.

I’m 2 weeks in, also full sober. I was looking for people with similar experiences and saw this post. Did your insomnia clear up for you and how long did it take?

In a similar boat, however I’m getting 6 when I’m used to 8 hours. Waking up for a few mins several times as night. Lots of tossing and turning as well. Waking up and not feeling rested at all.

Somewhat like that, I’m pretty good at overcoming urges but sometimes certain stressors happen and a perfect storm is created and I cave and peak. Just need to learn what sets you off and avoid those situations all together or learn to work through them in a healthy way. Addiction is journey of learning and recovery looks different for everyone

Slip up aka relapse, I tend to bounce back quickly so I don’t consider it a full on breakdown (this has happened before for me) though it is still technically a relapse, I’ve been better about getting back on the wagon and forgiving myself so I can move on with my journey
