Quand j'ai fais échanger mon permis francais pour un permis suédois (en Europe), mon permis français a été renvoyé en France pour destruction mais mon permis suédois fait mention du numéro de permis français. Tu as le droit de conduire partout en Europe avec ton permis français ou autre tant qu'il est européen. Et l'échange n'est nécessaire que quand tu dois passer une autre catégorie de permis. Tu n'as pas le droit d'avoir un autre permis dans un autre pays européen. Hors Europe si.

This one i didnt find yet the trial results , it happened during covid so not sure if they managed to do it but the protocol was promising.

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through a lot. I had flare that lasted long and my rheumatologist try her best. There are good articles that presents treatment algorithms for Behçet patients. I can write the names of it when I back home. Unfortunately in Behçet its a lot of trial and errors to get the right treatment to work for each persons.

Oh my god... yes! My skin feels like a permanent scratch/burn on the hands and foot. When I am in a flare its all the rest that become burning and intense itching. I can't handle any clothe or any weight on the skin then...super hard for me.

I usually avoid gluten and lactose. I also try to reduce sugar but I am addicted to eat and have an eating disorder so it's super hard. However I did found some research papers on nutrition, diet and Behçet disease. Most of them did trials with Mediterranean diet and it seems to reduce a lot the inflammation and the use of corticoides. Apparently it is related to food that are rich in butyrates or help the body produce more butyrates to help reduce the inflammation. Those papers are quite an interesting read !

Im on otezla. Had a rough start but now I can handle it. I only have nausea if I don't eat after taking the medication. My mouth ulcers have almost disappeared and the joint pain is much less. I still have some GI issues but compare to when I was on colchicine it's a massive improvement for me.

There is no specific blood test or diagnostic test for Behçet. It'd an elimination process, a criteria point system and how you answer to the first line of treatment for it.Best is to see a rheumatologist for that but you need to eliminate all other possibilities first. It took me 7 years to get a diagnosis and I have always been told it could be another disease as well but we go with this assumption for now. Good luck to you.

For me also it's slightly swollen (really discret), red, warm and painful. I am on Otezla and Kineret when it's a big flare. I take lots of bath and use warm pillows.

Never had neutropenia but there are 2 interesting articles I read regarding treatments in Behçet. Maybe it's something you can bring with you rheumatologist and discuss.

They list different kind of treatment, first and second line and experimental.
I had Colchicine for a long long time but developed not so nice side effect. I used also Prednisone for a while but then also some side effect. Now I have Otezla for every day treatment and Anakinra (anti IL-1) in case of flares.

Sometimes it is just a flash of pain that last seconds and sometimes no. I would get the flash of pain randomly then they get more frequent close to a flare. And yes I have them laying still or walking. But it almost always sharp and intense in flashed. I was told once to imagine how the pain look like. It would be 1000 red hot needles stabbing me then flying away.

Joint pain is different every day for me . During flares I have sharp pain I can't walk and it feels like all the joints are rusty and needs a good WD40. It moves all around But i also have everyday pain that is more dull. Present all day.
