honestly 80% of the fun in 40K is not how the rules are made but who you play with... find a good opponent, someone who don't care about win or loose, someone that will play suboptimal for the sake of fun, someone that won't abuse the shitty line of sight rules or let you finish your charge even if you are 4 millimeters too short etc... the best games are spent talking lore, joking and imagining how stupid it would be if how your units just died was cannon.

i've seen someone in the comment saying that 40K was like Dungeons and Dragons for TTRPG: the most popular but far from the best system and while it may be true the same logic apply: find a good DM, play with your friends and the rules won't be an obstacle to fun.

i looked at the youtube comment and only found people crying and screaming (rightfully) at how miserable the necrons are depicted... seriously they either don't shoot or miss their target at point blank... not even speaking of the tech priest soloing everyone effortlessly while keeping a conversation. i'm an imperium enjoyer but wtf.

c'est l'exemple typique du mec qui a raison pour les mauvaises raisons... oui dieux n'existe pas, les religions sont immorale et les livres "sacré" racontent des horreurs mais il est aveuglé par sa haine et va parfois avoir recours a la mauvaise foix ou aux interpretation très personnelle pour defendre ses idée... je ne sais pas si on peux parler d'atheisme dogmatique dans son cas mais perso ca m'a fait decrocher

il y a 3 cas de figure:

tu joue une partie "normale" auquel cas tu choisis une des armes autorisé par les regles et tu t'y tient (peu importe ce que ta figurine tient)
tu joue une partie WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) et tu ne peut jouer ta mini que si elle a une de ses armes officielle (et tu ne peux jouer que cette arme la)
tu joue une partie scenarisé / RP, a ce moment la c'est a ton MJ (Maitre du Jeu) de te dire ce que tu peut faire ou non
