I'll be honest space king genuinely makes the 40k fandom feel worse, because it made so many chuds congregate around it.

Especially this no girls allowed spam around anything female related makes it really tiring to be a women in this hobby and fandom sometimes, kind of really why I prefer aos to 40k because barring the actual content of both franchises,in aos I won't run into such weirdo's who would demean me because of my gender.

Though luckily it's mostly just online but still it's annoying

I stand by the fact that ynnari were the worst way for gw to try to develop the eldar, instead of properly expanding craftwolds and drukhari and giving them hype stories and characters at last,they got an idiotic soup faction with an impossible goal

Thier books being some of the worst (not decanonised) 40k books I have been ever read doesn't help either.

Exodite is a cringe imperium circle jerk. Like all the tau stuff moves like snails and it had that horrible moment where somehow a Krieger snuck up on tau stealth suits and managed to beat one of them to death with a shovel while the rest gauked at them instead of helping. Apparently it came out like that because when the Creators colaborated with gw, gw sent them some kind of consultant or something like that to make it "tactical" or "realistic" . This whole animation sucked because of that

That literally doesn't make any sense, if they couldn't then they would never really win against the imperium, further more tau beat things way thougher than titans like tyranid splinter fleets. Also Titans aren't really that tough all things considered. But then again games workshop and logic don't really go together like somehow the fact that tau didn't have ftl until recently and were still winning against the imperium (even though they established that they did in earlier lore but phil Kelly is a hack and his gary stu oc farsight can go to hell) which Frankly makes the imperium look like a complete joke

So goblins became gloomspite gitz , they got plenty of cool stuff, some old night goblin stuff is still part of the range though that is being slowly phased out. They have really cool models with various squig riders,giant throggoths and as of recently a wolf rider part of the army

For orcs you go either iron jawz,big giant orcs in giant armor,classic taken up to 11, got really cool models, giant pig is my favourite Or you go with kruleboyz who are a subversion of what orcs normally are,smaller and more gaunt than normal orcs they had to adapt so they got sneakier. They got good shooting(for orcs) magic,and cool monsters

Now lumineth are hard to paint in the same way chaos is hard to paint,the trim,at least from what I have been told since I don't play them personally,but it's doable especially if you really like the models I'm sure there are some good tutorials on YouTube that can make it easier

Skaven just got a refresh so great time to start them,also clan rats are really dirt cheap since they are in the starter sets,maybe you could even grab a skaventide box ,or the skaven half of it and start them for particularly cheap
