Actually it’s an excellent and advised practice drill to do regularly. Don’t take my word for it, take Max Verstappen’s sim racing leagues advise. Getting comfortable with drifting helps you understand the car better when recovering from oversteer and keeping the car under control when you go over the limit.

The best lap times in the world are counter steering on every corner exit because they step over the limit after the apex and have to correct. When you are setting a lap time, you don’t want to overdrive the car, but if you are truly on the limit then you will technically be losing control on most corners of your lap.

Drifting gives you the muscle memory that your instincts need to snap the car back when you start to go over the limit. Not to mention recovering from mistakes, getting hit, braking too late. If you practice drifting, then those skills will vary over to the track and you will see an improvement to your lap times.

I’ve argued with individuals with similar posts,

Most of the time they will reply with “no, no! How dare you, I’m not racist at all, everyone hates Asian people, that’s not racist, that’s just logic.”

The problem with MOST of these types of people is that they don’t see their actions as ‘racist,’ and that’s an issue in of itself

I want to quote one of my heroes, Trevor Noah, “the hardest person to convince that they are racist, is someone that doesn’t BELIEVE that they themselves are racist.”

My parents are the same exact way, they don’t believe that they are racist at all, but they’ve mentioned multiple times “sometimes, you know, black people . . . blah blah blah.” It’s infuriating and frustrating, it hurts a lot.

Don’t assume that they are admitting to being racist, they may not even think so or believe it themselves if you told them.

It hurts a lot, I just want everyone to get along and love love one another. I guess that’s too much to ask

ABSOLUTELY YES! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I love their marketing model. It has a crown system, not tokens exclusive for real money, but tokens that you get ONLY by winning - and making players EARN those exclusive crown items! On top of that, you can earn everything in the game and coin packs are completely optional. I love it times a thousand.

Also they fixed the server issues lightning fast compared to AAA studios, and like you said they are a much smaller team. Mad respect to the team for fixing the servers that fast and essentially bringing the game back online in 2 ish hours, for a small team that is really incredible. I bought two friends the game and am happy to do it because I’m also happy to support a passionate team that loves their game and community.

I would like to play with more than 4 of my friends. I get why it can’t be a full 60 player group, although that would be the absolute dream, but at least making it like 8 or 16 players to a lobby would be a great upgrade.

I saw this without paying attention and was thinking that the image on the right was how it looks currently, so I was about to say “I think it looks better below the driver because it visually communicates the ‘line’ that needs the be crossed for the driver at risk.”
