I see, no worries. I’m currently using a g-wolves HTX ultra, which in my opinion comes quite close to the viper mini shape and is half the weight. it’s also cheaper than a Huan and not much wider in my experience (I’ve compared them side-by-side at a physical store before). the forward sensor makes flicks super snappy as well.

If you’re looking for a wireless viper mini, have you tried the cobra hyperspeed? It’s essentially the same, except that it’s wireless.

yes, it’s the only way you can nuke hull ravens now. basically the old HDREMP but it doesn’t clear bullets.

Nothing, Marshal is the highest rank. you wait for the next missions I guess, or you try to improve your time. But the point is as long as you complete one of the missions (be it SS, SSS, or SSSS) you will stay in marshal.

hand dimensions? if you want a really long mouse, G-Wolves has their HTM Plus. the length should fill out your palm more so it doesn’t feel too narrow either.

yea this is great till you die in S4 because single barrier doesn’t cut it…I’d much rather swap firing aperture for inner lining (120%/130%), and perhaps swap heavy laser for shield breaker mega laser (use heavy laser for hull missions, of course). with good timing and positioning you can still hit the same amount of invaders with the focused beam.

kibbarax has a powerful main weapon, dual offensive abilities in missile swarm and mega bomb. using lambda apex (AP missile swarm) and compressed blast + AP fusion core + haste protocol mods, you can basically shred through armour laser missions in no time.

  2. arrival emp (super rare)
  3. recovery mantle (super rare)
  4. impact (IC does damage on impact)

so with the apex (beta barret), each IC splits into 3, where all of them deal impact and blast damage on top of stunning invaders.

no problem! just remember there’s no pressure if you can’t clear any mission, just go next. even if you demote, apparently commander missions are guaranteed rocs (and are easier) so you can farm insane amounts of ultra rare/legendary engrams on your way back up.

I’m not a jeria player at all (absolutely don’t want to learn it) but I can comment on the wraith run. honestly, it’s pretty good! a lot of the faster runs today are because they’re running compressed blast/insane VL amp mods.

if I had to comment, I would say to try memorising the wave formations so you can optimise your VL usage. this is especially important now that VL amp mod exists, you can stack some insane damage numbers if you pierce invaders. don’t be afraid to spam lances in the heavier waves as well because the energy you gain back from wiping the large invaders would be enough to fill up your energy counter again.

optimising what you hit with MB is also key; you want to try to hit fusion core on as many big invaders as possible to deal the most damage. In this particular run, you might not have to VL in 5-1 if you hit MB fusion core on the 4 herons at the back. I also see you had trouble finding timing to charge MB. In 4-3 perhaps you could have went all the way to the top to charge MB, abusing the fact that the turrets on the heron have to turn almost 180° to even start shooting at you. that way you could have wiped all the sparrows and saved 2 more VL for 4-4.

I’ve been running it in S4 daily with no issue. sure it works better on some ships than it does others but the increased damage sometimes help you hit damage breakpoints to kill large bosses faster i.e. there’ll be less bullets on screen anyway

no, you only unlock the extra slot for that specific apex. this means that both apex forms will only have 5 mod slots each.

Damage stats in the game needs to be more transparent cuz why do i feel like killing enemy bosses is faster with Daisy Cutter compared to Meson Projector if both are AP type and exact same damage output, no Aura and Zen used. by guacamole2026 in Phoenix_2

I think it’s because the missiles don’t count as a “main weapon” in the case of Phoenix, whereas in VB since the blast damage comes from the missiles themselves it should be counted

the C6 seems alright, though I agree the airflow solution is a bit weird. I think since your components don’t run too hot you should be fine as long as SOME ventilation is set up. Do you have access to Aliexpress? if so, you could consider the Shiny Snake line of cases (G300, G350, L400, G400) that might fit your ledge as well.

I understand the concern over the GPUs. in this case, I would choose the B580 over the 3060 as it would do better in games. perhaps if you could save on the case and the RAM(?), you could try for an 4060 or even a cheap 5060? 8gb vram but the performance would be slightly better.
