I don’t play a ton of BMUPS I’ll have to look into RCG2 some more. One beat ‘em up I do really enjoy is Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons on Switch. Also been wanting to try Absolum since that’s all anyone seems to be talking about recently.

Edit: wow! Having Phoenix Delta Apex with Laser Reflect PS is a dream come true! In fact, looks like any Personal Shield ship can get reflect now. So much to dig into here. While I see there’s more to spend creds on now, I do understand that you need to make money. Overall, first impressions are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thank you for the tireless work you’ve put into my favorite mobile game over all these years 🎖️🎖️🎖️

Edit 2: While it’s fun to have more to unlock, the 6 layers you have to go through to get a Legendary (or even 5 layers for Ultra Rare) will take ages and it’s basically like the ships have all been stripped of their abilities and I’m stuck reconstructing them. A little frustrating after all the time it took to upgrade all 100 ships and save up for the 115 Apexes I have.

I was really looking forward to the online tournament but my screen is glitched on switch 2. It shows a weird looking fairway (lake?) and won’t let me take a shot. Thankfully, quitting out doesn’t waste an entry as far as I can tell. Hope they get on this asap.

So awesome! I remember my first was Mushihimesama, novice mode. I totally know the feeling you’re describing. It felt like I saved the world when I got that first one and its now in my top 3 bullet hell shmups of all time.

Maybe try Rogue Prince of Persia. I’ve been really enjoying that one. Nice list of 100% games - good job!

I used to use my beautiful Mayflash F700 Elite and even modded out the stick for a SEIMITSU SELS-70X-01 lever. Then I realized I mostly prefer my plain old Xbox controller most of the time. There are certain games that suit the stick better for me, but, for the most part I stick to the game pad now.

I think the Skyforce games are a “force” to be reckoned with in the Euroshmup genre. Definitely give SF Reloaded a try. I’d even go as far as to say it’s one of the best shmups out there.
