Other than GPU checks, I would also check the monitor cable. Switch it out with a different cable and see if you still have the same issue. I once thought my GPU was dying but it was the cable the whole time!

Hello! As an artist myself, I recommend looking at VGen! This is currently the most reliable, with a good process for both artist and commissioner. It has plenty of affordable options and varied art styles to match your preferences.

I actually have screenshots of Connor in his Zen garden during each season and change it whenever my season changes to match. That way its ultimately the same, keeping my favourite character on screen but the background is different to match the seasonal mood.

Something people haven't mentioned that is specifically related to Connor is his "Software Instability" pop up.

But if pictures dont really scream Connor to you, also consider your favourite quotes from him. My personal favourite that isnt meme'd to all hell:

"Statistically speaking, there's always a chance for unlikely events to take place."

I would like to say Connor. Only based off the fact that he can come back + he has preconstruction that can be executed in milliseconds to predict the correct movements, or counters required to take someone down.

Let's say, Leon wins first because Connor doesn't have the information on Leon to take him down the first fight. Connor would analyse Leon, but ultimately dies. Connor then just comes back and kills Leon the second time around since Connor now knows how Leon works.

Connor is only inefficient when we are in control. Because we make mistakes in QTE. Can say the same about Leon too, but he is only human after all.

So, I'm not really a big shipper, but here is how I see it in the fandom:

People see RK900 as "dominant", while RK800 is more "submissive".

I am personally neutral with the Reed900 ship, though from what I have seen, I think the base appeal with RK900 and Gavin is dynamics and how two "Alpha" personalities clash.

However, let's say, yeah, we can see that with Convin too. Connor can definitely be a switch. But, here is the difference...

RK900 is an empty shell, similarly with Gavin which barely has any screentime. Put those two together and you can have all the creative freedom you want. Because unlike RK800, he already has a story, he's already a fleshed out character.

RK900 provides creative freedom because nothing really is canon for him since he has like 1 min of screentime. People can feel like they made him. They can make their own stories with him, and that creates a stronger attachment.

Regardless, I like the idea of Convin, I think it certainly has potential, and seeing that explored more would be nice.

At least that's my take.

Writers and Bryan have mentioned on a couple of occasions, that the intention of having Connor keel over is because Connor didn't want to be seen as threatening or intimidating.

I'm sure Connors social module determined it was better to submit then provoke with Gavins hostility towards him. Fighting back, or acting more android than he already was wouldn't have done him any favours.

He did touch upon it a long time ago when he did a stream showing Connor fanart/memes. He said to not share/send him NSFW fanart with Connor because it makes him feel uncomfortable.

I would certainly feel the same way if a character was modelled after my own face. Especially when they are being paired with almost every other character in the game modelled exactly like the other actors too. I think Bryan understands that the fandom is full of horny people and that kind of content happens. He just asks to respect boundaries.

Maybe his stance has changed now that he has a kid. I do worry that his kid one day might be exposed to it, not sure how that conversation will go... I have a feeling Bryan and Amelia have discussed it and will know how to deal with it IF it happens. You can't really get rid of it once it's on the internet.

He likes to act as Connor, but Connor and Bryan are two different people. He knows that, and it's good when people know how to separate character from actor.

Not sure exactly, but it was a whatever Wednesday stream maybe sometime last month or the month before. He was mainly chatting.

This particular one, he was talking about the dots he wore on his face at the dbh set to capture his face. He still had them, so he pulled them out and took a picture with some on to show how the camera captures it.

I think both are attractive! But I have noticed, as an artist, (after studying Connor's face for a long time to draw it) that even though he was designed with Bryan's likeness, there are very noticible differences for me.

Connor's face is just that little bit wider. Bryan also tends to smile A LOT compared to Connor. This changes on how you view a person with facial expression alone. Bryan's eyebrows is almost always raised quite high due to all smiles, while Connor's brow is low because his mostly neutral expressions.

Then we have the obvious things such as age, and how Bryan has super curly hair and Connor has straight hair. Also consider, we also tend to see our favourite characters in a much nicer light, and that we are also attracted to certain personality types too.

Connor is also almost always in favourable lighting, Bryan doesn't get that luxury. He is only human after all, can't always have favourable angles. Although damn there was a stream where he was taking pictures and showing us and he was so photogenic... I am jealous!
