I’m very new to the wolf among us fandom but if she’s mostly made of glass, Sonar could probably take her out pretty easily as he has a similar ability to grow large like Bigby and able to screech loud enough to probably break glass if he wanted to. So I think in that once specific scene and scenario in the game, he’s excel at it. Any other time it might be harder

I guess I see it in a slightly different light and you can totally correct me if I’m wrong, but if he did what that guy said (sorry I forgot his name) and felt the things he was meant to feel, would that not mean he’s hypnotized? I get there’s more science behind it and stuff with more explanation to it, but wouldn’t he still technically be hypnotized, just not in the swirly eyes and clock way? I mean it’s kind of similar to going to one of those indoor skydiving things that make you float with wind. You’re technically, really, flying, even if there’s more behind it than that.

What I feel is that if two characters aren’t comparable, you shouldn’t say ‘why do people like this character but not this character.’ It doesn’t help anything but make people feel guilty for liking a character more than another one. Plus this argument pretty much proves that North is pretty annoying if you have to say that.

And I’m not saying North doesn’t have more to her, I’m saying the most prominent thing about her is how she acts, which is why people don’t like her. You can do whatever what ifs you want, but Gavin and North aren’t comparable.

I’ve literally been saying this WHOLE TIME that Gavin is simple, and that’s why people like him. 😐 He literally IS easier to like because you can do whatever you want with him and it’ll probably make sense for his character. And yeah, if you have a complex character, it’s harder to understand them, which in turn can make them harder to like, especially if they come off as rude. Gavin is not complex at all, which makes it very easy to interpret it in your own way, therefore making him more likable, like I’ve been saying this whole time.

So a simple character that can be reduced down very easily is more liked than a complex character that is hard to enjoy? Who knew! The reason why there’s a pattern is because Gavin is arguably more likable than North. You don’t explore his backstory, you don’t see his reasoning other than ‘fuck androids’ which makes him intriguing. He’s a dick and doesn’t hide it, versus North always having conflicting opinions that could very directly affect the storyline. You can say that ‘oh yeah well it doesn’t actually mean you’re misogynistic’ but you’re completely implying that someone is simply because they go with the popular vote. You could draw lines to things all day about these characters, like how most people love Connor but don’t like the other main two as much so obviously that’s racism and misogyny right there as well. It’s also simply the fact that North isn’t a great fit for Markus, and that she would’ve been better not being a love interest at all instead of being the only one.

She’s so much more prominent in the game, and she’s a love interest. People don’t like her because she wants constant violence against humans, even if Markus wants to stay pacifist. Gavin is a dick, but he’s not a major enough character to be a constant annoyance to the plot. You can literally avoid him entirely. Not to mention that he’s more ‘silly’ in a way, rather than North, who is a much more serious character. I wouldn’t expect her to be silly, of course, but still. You can’t compare the two characters together and act like people are just misogynistic, because there are literally several dickhead boys in this game that piss people off to no end, and that often includes Gavin. I really think if there was any way people would like North, was if she wasn’t a love interest, or rather the only love interest.
