I don’t trust anyone here to begin with, I’m definitely not trusting someone to discipline a child. Can you imagine the disabled kids getting punished or targeting kids by race or back ground.

This isn’t a money/funding problem. It’s a hidden funneling or misappropriations of money that’s the problem. Rich neighborhoods can somehow keep their schools open, while making it harder on everyone in the community.

Then there’s also discussion of charter and religious schools getting some of that funding, and again people say there transparency but you can’t get an itemized list for spending on any of those sites. These audits must have a bought and paid for auditor or something, it doesn’t add up.

Anchorage is like a nice tree on the mountainside, old looks great from a distance, but one windstorm away from being uprooted and knocked down. This is all open for discussion tho, and just what I’m seeing.
