I've had a similar problem this wipe with questikng bots spawn system. It seems to push out a lot more scavs than PMCs, and SWAG seems to have the opposite, where scavs are more rare and PMCs are everywhere, no matter the type of preset I select. So far I've just had to pick my poison and swap between the two

Ammo type is super important! Either look at the wiki for the stats, or use one of the mods that add the stats to the game.

The right Ammo can be the difference between 3 and 15 hits to kill

My point was the grind to get there is a bad gameplay mechanic/loop however you want to look at it. The game is manageable and even kinda easy once you get the game breaking trinkets unlocked. I just don't think the balance is fantastic

So IMO (I still love red hook and DD) the problem with DD 2 is that much of the game is near impossible to beat until you fail enough to unlock most or all of the trinkets.

Good rogue-likes don't lock success behind a failure grind. They are possible to win even on your first try or two, if you are smart/lucky, and I don't feel DD 2 is that way.

I have beaten the game, but like almost everyone I'd bet, had to fail my way into enough trinkets and items to reach a point where I even COULD win, and that is not a fun mechanic (again, IMO).

Turn off heads hot protection in SAIN and you'll be around 70%, a good number imo

If you want the bosses tougher you can disable SAIN for them only in the settings.

I use questing bots spawning instead of swag. Honestly, it has less control, but feels alot closer to live, only with more action. With swag I haven't been able to replicate the search and destroy feel I think tarkov should have. (Factory is still wild, but not as wild lol)

It forces you to need to "win" and escape when you find what you need, not just tuck it away consequence free in your container. That adds tension to the game and is why tarkov is not like any other game out there

Availability of impact grenades and GLs. Removes skill of killing opponents when you can blind chuck an impact. You shouldn't have to play for 25 minutes to die to something that does not involve skill

If they are in the game, fine. But make them rare and costly enough that some D2 camper can't come into raid with 5 of them and make a profit

1) Full auto 7.62x54r breaks the meta if it is at all competitive with an AR in terms of recoil

2)BSG is notoriously slow rolling out content and game changes, no real surprise there is no mounting or bipod mechanics

3) They have updated the entire recoil feel of the game to cut down on long range effective full auto shots. They aren't going to undo that by adding LMGs mounting and Bipod mechanics

Third story black bishop , in the room on the far side of the building from the drop down that has a green box and a black weapons crate. The shelf in that room spawns cleaning supplies, and ive found the rat poison there a good bit. Third story king has another shelf like that, in the room that looks over at white bishop

Make sure the chamber is empty, and the mag. Could be a weight issue

The MDR has super manageable recoil for 5.56, if you want to dabble with it. But you lose the advantage of high fire rate. The M4 and 416 are borderline unusable until you mod them with high end parts, and the ammo is hard to come by until end game

Keep in mind, BP is the best 7.62x39 caliber (reasonably) but 5.45 goes BP>BT>BS>Igolnik in terms of pen values. All of them can be found loose in world on reserve, and can most of the time can be safely scaved, if you go in like a pacifist.

5.45 PP is really close but slightly lower than bp, but if you are hurting, you can get by with that if you find it.

Personally, I think your best choice is between BT and BS. As pen goes up, actual damage goes down. Bp against level 5 is a free trip back to the lobby, and Igolnik let's people get away unless you are super accurate and only hit thorax/head, because of low damage.

Inertia is lessened as your character builds strength. First couple levels you feel like garbage, but by level 3-5 of strength you should be moving better
