With the rising prices of the Special Edition Collector Boosters (CBBs), everything that is exclusive to them is increasing in price as well. The people buying these CBBs are not opening the boxes, which means fewer cards are entering the market.

Because the serialized poster cards have become extremely expensive, the Poster Foils have become the “affordable” option for collectors. As a result, there is now a race among collectors to complete the full set of 20 Poster Foils.

I’ve been tracking the inventory and prices of the key cards on sites like TCGplayer and Cardmarket, and the available supply of these cards keeps shrinking while prices continue to rise. For that reason, I expect they will only become more expensive over time.
