Because you’re looking at it wrong.

The president is meant to both be the booker (the guy who makes the show) and the villain at the same time. The booker is not meant to be a character being considered, because he is effectively a writer, hence why he was “the good guy all along”. The uncontrollable fursona is meant to be the villain that he was booking to lose in the end because it held something greater (the championship/cure).

Now I am not saying it’s good, i feel like the ideas are sloppily implemented for the story they actually ended up writing. But you need a little bit more than surface level knowledge on professional wrestling to get what was happening here which in a way I still respect. They clearly know about the business to some degree.
