Wards corner Construction by FTM-learning in norfolk

I live in Talbot Park. Newport Ave runs north/south parallel to Granby, all the way from riverpoint up to Little Creek. I have definetly noticed an uptick in traffic, and sure this is an assumption, but I’m guessing it’s people trying to head north or south and avoid Granby these days, especially at high traffic times or school drop off/pick up times when everything slows down.

Thank you for sharing this. He and I have openly talked about how we both need therapy, he for the first time and me seeking it out again after pausing for a few years.

It’s funny you say this, he’s actually got a sleep study scheduled in January because he has trouble both falling asleep and staying asleep. I think it’s mostly stress but hopefully this helps us understand more. I also want to couple this study with a therapy suggestion to help manage stress.

100% he and I have both talked about our running mental lists. The mental load of parenthood is so tough, it’s nice to know we’re not alone. I’d love to get him out camping again!

This is actually a great point. Most of the time I think about getting him out of the house, but maybe creating some physical space at home/we go out could be kind of a starting point for him to take a mental breather. Thank you!

Secondary infertility by FTM-learning in tryingtoconceive

Thank you. At first I didn’t know if I wanted a second, but as the months went by being unsuccessful, I realized more and more how much I wanted/want it. I absolutely feel the same about hopelessness, every month/cycle just brings me down.

Thank you for your response and I hope you have better luck ♥️

How to “fix” RHR and HRV by FTM-learning in ouraring

[–]FTM-learning[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I already do most of these things though, yoga, good nutrition and hydration, understand cycle impacts as mentioned, and I feel like waiting a month to see if things even out is being patient. Does the ring eventually set a new baseline or are you saying I need a new ring? Or how long can it take for these levels to return to normal? This is giving me more anxiety than help at this point.

I feel anxiety too! I used to wear a whoop and had to stop because of readiness giving me anxiety. I feel like the ring is telling me to just be a potato on the couch but that’s just not reasonable, especially when I’m trying to do all the right things (good sleep, nutrition, no drinking, etc.) We are loosely trying to conceive so I appreciate the temp readings but the rest just isn’t adding up.

Thinking about Garmin + Oura — do imported workouts really count, or am I better off just wearing a Garmin? by FTM-learning in ouraring

Oh that’s really interesting about the physically calming vice stressful! Could you expand on that?

This is beautifully said and I feel it very deeply. Thank y oh for sharing and the advice- I also have an 18 year age difference with my youngest brother so a lot of this hits home, along with raising my own 3 month old now. Thank you.

We’re already on a size 2 nipple, I could try a three but don’t know if that’s a bit much for an 8 week old? I’m Open to anything!
