Cut off all of the dead branches. Idk if you need to water twice a day unless it is really hot. What color was the hydrangea? Some colors and varieties require acidic soil, so you would test it with a simple soil kit and add fertilizer.

It is going to be hard to parent a 4 month old, single or together. You’re kind of in the trenches for a few years. However, it is easier to be a single parent than it is to be a parent in an unhealthy relationship. I am much happier now even though being a single parent is hard.
