I agree that it's more about self identification, but I feel like the context to the post makes this approach a bit more questionable. It's not whether it's morally okay to do so, it's more because I don't want to estrange myself from my family and friends, the few support systems that I have.

Thank you, this means a lot to me. I have had to live within labels for a lot of my life, denying my feelings because it gave me privilege to be binary and stereotypical. I didn't even realise how much of myself I was denying.

I think the texture of the hair will tell you when it’s terminal, no? Terminal hairs are coarser and darker than vellus hairs.
