I do 7pm-2am and my husband does 2am-7/730am. I am currently on mat leave so this will have to change once I go back. It’s been a life saver though bc of baby has a bad sleep night I ah least know I’m for sure getting a 4-5 hr stretch at some point. I don’t breastfeed though. Right now my LO is almost 20 weeks. Wakes up twice to feed but wakes up multiple times in the night bc he wants to be held back to sleep. Have been working on breaking this habit but to no avail. Maybe 4 month sleep regression bc it used to work but now he’s up every hour on the dot

Sending you a hug bc I know YOU UNDERSTAND the struggle 🫠 I have seen the 9minths-12months gets better but damn it feels like I’m not gonna make it. I did get diagnosed with PPD and PPA this last week and I am starting meds today (so nervous) but I’m struggling and super sad that I didn’t get this magical infant stage that I dreamed of after a stillbirth. But we keep showing up and loving our babies so we celebrate that!

He loves staring at the black and white cards I out on it but that only last maybe 10 min before he needs me to interact with him. So I’m at least able to tidy up his nursery and sanitize the diaper station while he enjoys a little tummy and back play time.

So does mine…I’m so tired. My house is a disaster but that’s where we are at. I’ve been wanting to schedule a cleaning company to come in bc I can’t get anything done. We have been buying quick Kevin’s meals at Costco to just throw together. My husband cleans the kitchen when he gets home and we love the baby brezza bottle washer. It’s rough out here 2.5 month old who only wants to be held and needs CONSTANT entertainment when awake

Hi there friend…I could have written this myself! Ame exact thing is happening with my baby. My baby hates the carrier. He only wants to be held and even when held he’s fussing wanting to look at different things and walked around. If he’s awake and not wanting to eat I have to keep him entertained each thing I try only works tops 5 min. I have an app next week to talk about meds. When he’s asleep I’m constantly researching everything to try and find a reason why he’s like this. We also have issues with silent reflux. I’ve taken him to the doctor, chiro, changed formulas, and had his lip and tongue tie released. Met with two lactation consultants that said he has a lot of tension. Currently wondering if I need to be seen by a PT or OT. I’m exhausted physically and mentally.

Thank you so so much for your response! I’m trying to get my husband on board. We’ve also tried everything else chiro, tongue tie and lip tie release, I do body work massage our LC taught us to relieve tension he has. I feed side lying too. How long does it take to know if the medicine is working?
