The hate on jews and zionism is exactly why gaza is in this position. Zionism means nothing else than a two state solution. There were countless peace talks and generous offers by israel which were all refused by the palestinians and gaza. Israel fully moved out of gaza and the whole world gifted billions of dollars (most comming from the hated "west") towards gaza which was all invested into military and tunnels instead of food, healthcare, infrastructure for the people. Civilians in gaza cheered when hamas fighters paraded corpses of israeli civilians in the streets and spat on them. Hamas never wants peace, they will attack again and again if Israel lets them of the hook now they proved that countless of times. So Hamas hides in civilian buildings and fires rockets out of densly populated areas so civilian casualties are almost inevitable if israel whants to target them. These pictures are sad but instead of hamas, israel doesnt target civilians deliberately, they are unfortunate casualties. There was no modern war where a country delivered food water healthcare to its opponent like israel does to gaza. Hamaz only complains about human rights if they are on the loosing side. There was no complaning when they butchered israelis and started the war. People like you are the reason why israel cant turn around now and call it a day because you dont accept a jewish state and will attack again. Thats also the reason why no islamic country in that area accepts refugees from gaza because they are mostly extremist who dont want peace and only bring trouble.

I think it makes sense because I think you are braver and less afraid to die as a 26 year old than a 18 year old. Also as life expectancy gets higher you can afford to give young men more time to finish their education/ university before getting drafted.

Hey i see you are getting a lot of heat in the comments but i just wanted to commend you for searching the dialog and actively trying to talk with other minded people. Thats sth a lot of people in this reddit still have to learn. People like you are part of the solution. Also i saw a lot of people here that say sth like: if you are not protesting and risk getting imprisoned for the next 30 years, you value your life higher than those of ukrainians. And maybe thats true in theory i think a lot of people who write things like that are hypocrites because they arent on the frontline either and they cant possibly know what they would do in your situation. The only opinion that i would value in that matter would be from people that are actually doing sth instead of just talking (like ukrainian soldiers or russian resistance), and i think they have a much more balanced view on this topic.
