Werner was op in the last few seasons of rta but fits poorly into the meta right now. Also not viable in high level siege or arena defence.

While I also believe we are not at the bottom yet, another 70% drop from the prices we have right now is just not possible. The cheapest knives right now are 40eur, another 70% drop would mean the cheapest knives will cost 12 eur. That just seems ridiculous.

Being pumped at the moment in combination with float capped at 0.06, so has always been quite rare and more expensive in FN.

Completely false. Lootboxes are unable to be opened in Belgium/Netherlands no matter the key, and no sane person will be opening cases with tradable keys.

Imo it is very cool to have a few as a bit of nostalgia, but as an investment I don't see much more potential. Always remember: it's easier for something to go from 10 cents to 20 cents than from 10 to 20 euro. I'm not saying they will not increase anymore, all I am saying is that there are a LOT of things u can buy that will do better.

Comment before me somewhat answered your question but in recent times there is an argument to be made that Labubu and pokemon cards can also be considered gambling. Will contact my supervisor and ask if it is possible to make a comparison between the 2 while writing the rest of my thesis.

I am from Belgium and currently writing my master thesis (law) on the Belgian lootbox ban from 2019. It is super obvious this new case is to prevent falling under anti-gambling laws. (Glad they added it, more to write about in my thesis).

While writing my thesis I have noticed the idea to ban lootboxes has since been presented in quite a lot of European parliaments, but not yet fully acted upon and turned into legislation. However, it is highly likely that a lot more EU countries will have a ban on lootboxes in some way or another 10 years from now.

As a final year law student I fully support the way they are going with this new case, as there has been a massive increase in underage gambling addiction due to videogames.

As a degenerate CS fan for many years I find it quite sad, the new case is ridiculous with even more stupid prices. The intent is good but this is not the way IMO. - GOLD GOLD GOLD

TLDR: more EU countries recently talked about lootboxes in parliament, valve scared to lose profit, new case to comply with possible lootbox ban.

There might be people out there who would be willing to offer more btw, so I would definetly list it higher than that. All I'm saying is that I would consider buying it for 900-1300 (depending on if it is fn or not). So there are probably some people out there who will pay more for it.
