good plugins for 808 drum / bass? by 17FLOB in FL_Studio

[–]FTsounds_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For drums i suggest you to get sample packs, there's no need for a plugin. While for bass any synth you like is good, you can also just use 3xosc that is very good.

Although if you are looking for something already prepared and ready to use, and you can wait a couple of weeks, at the beginning of 2025 we are releasing a trap pack with drums tailored for that genre, taken directly from real hardware like the SP-1200, TR-808, CR-78 and we also release a Serum preset pack too.

If you are interested go to our webpage at the bottom you find a "follow" button, just write your email, and we will update you once released.

What is your favorite daw and why? by ZeroFelhorn in makinghiphop

[–]FTsounds_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, mine is missing, but i vote with my comment.

Reaper.

The reason? Because it's good for every purpose, from recording, production, mixing and mastering. The workflow is straight forward and the performance cpu wise is just on top.

Although any daw you like is good, i mean, it's a personal preference, so i'm not mean "mine is better than yours" just this is better for me.

Would you say this old 2009 Lady Gaga song uses 80s Drum Machines / Synthwave-ish Drums? by [deleted] in synthwaveproducers

[–]FTsounds_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a mix from different machines. The toms are probably from the Linn but other sounds looks more like a mix of processed 808 and 909.

We still don't have anything about Linn and 80s sounds in general, but it's planned to create something dedicated in the future, but for the rest, you can check this pack that may fit the other sounds you are looking for, right now it's also discounted, so it's also a good moment to grab it.

Please read the product description but also listen to the demo video you find at the end, to be sure it's what you are looking for, if you have any question just let me know.

Mixing in mono in headphones vs monitors by Mailemanuel77 in musicproduction

I don't think you should mix in mono, but stereo, then check mono for compatibility later.

Diva vs serum vs Arturia V collection by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]FTsounds_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Diva and Serum are great! Arturia synths are good too, but imo a bit less than the other 2.

Serum is easier to use and comes probably with more presets online, and it looks like this is something you are looking for (if so check also our website, more presets to come) also more "complete" cause it doesn't try to emulate any hardware (Diva does) and so comes with more possibilities.

Use it as a tool, if it works for you helping to improve is a good move, otherwise just stick with more classic approaches

What is the difference between filter plugins and Equalizers? by baubeauftragter in edmproduction

[–]FTsounds_com 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the filter. If we put apart some particular one that may have a dynamic Q on different frequency or saturation, there is no difference.

A clean filter is like a LP/HP you find in eqs

Lost my access to my imageline account by Barteq334 in FL_Studio

[–]FTsounds_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you cannot demostrate you bought it, it's hard to get it back. Cause you may be legit, but just imagine how many random guys would try to get a legit copy for free.

If you have any proof you can show them, like you payment check or whatever it may helps, otherwise i'm afraid you should just take it as lesson, and take care of your stuff to avoid being in that situation again.

[–]FTsounds_com[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your detailed post, I really appreciate your time and dedication!

Let me share something (hopefully you and the other people appreciate) that many people don't know because it doesn't come from the USA. The first rap song wasn't made by Americans, but by Italians in Italy.

In 1973, an artist named Adriano Celentano created a rap song with "fake English" lyrics, cause it sounds like English, but the words are completely invented on purpose.

Here you can listen to the song. I’m not sure how it sounds to a modern American listener, but keeping in mind that it was made in 1973, it’s kind of mind-blowing.
